शातिर दिमाग की इस महिला संतोष पत्नी रणधीर निवासी भूर्री ने पुलिस थाना मुरथल में 14 अक्तूबर 2016 को शिकायत दी थी कि मेरे पति रणधीर की किसी नामपता नामालूम व्यक्तियों ने तेजधार हथियार मारकर हत्या कर दी है। सन्तोष के बयान पर मामला दर्ज किया गया।

अनुसंधान टीम में नियुक्त सहायक उप निरीक्षक कटार सिंह ने अपनी पुलिस टीम के साथ सतीश व विनोद निवासी बिधलान को गिरफ्तार किया था। पूछताछ करने पर आरोपी विनोद ने अपने किये अपराध की स्वीकारोक्ति दी और बताया कि अपनी बुआ सन्तोष के कहने पर अपने साथी सतीश के साथ मिलकर घरेलू कलह के चलते कस्सी मारकर हत्या की थी। रिमांड पर लेकर पूछताछ की गई। अनुसंधान टीम द्वारा कार्यवाही करते हुये घटना में षडयंत्रकारी महिला आरोपी सन्तोष को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। गिरफ्तार आरोपियों के बताये अनुसार घटना में प्रयुक्त कस्सी को भी बरामद कर लिया गया है। आरोपियों कोे न्यायिक हिरासत जेल भेज दिया गया है।
