मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने दहिया कालोनी, मायापुरी, कीर्ति नगर, सरस्वती विहार, देवीलाल कालोनी, गढ़ी ब्राह्मणान, विशाल नगर, भगत सिंह कालोनी, कालूपुर, बाबा कालोनी, मोहन नगर, लहराडा समेत दर्जन भर कालोनियों की पानी की किल्लत को पूरा करने में तकनीकी अड़चन दूर करने के लिए प्रयास शुरु कर दिये। सोमवार को सिंचाई विभाग के कार्यकारी अभियंता अश्वनी फौगाट और नगर निगम के एसडीओ नरेंद्र कुमार के साथ उन्होंने ककरोई हेड का दौरा किया नगर निगम और सिंचाई विभाग के मध्य विवाद पानी देने के बिंदु आरडी 227500 तथा आरडी 2282234 की बजाय ककरोई हेड पर मिलने वाले एनसीआर चैनल और पश्चिमी यमुना लिंक नहर चेनल से पानी देने की व्यवस्था में दोनों विभागों के मध्य तकनीकी अड़चन भी दूर हो जाएगी। लाब नुमा तरीके से 365 दिन 24 घण्टे पानी की उपलब्ध रहता है। राजीव जैन ने कहा कि इस विकल्प पर मुहर लगाएं। यह प्रस्ताव मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के पास भेजा जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि समय से तकनीकी अड़चन दूर करवाना उनकी प्राथमिकता है।
