भारत में कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है, स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार देश में कुल मरीजों की संख्या 54 लाख के बड़े आंकड़े को पार कर गयी है। कोरोना संक्रमित मरीजों की संख्या के हिसाब से अमेरिका के बाद भारत दुनिया में सबसे प्रभावित देश है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी ताजा आकंड़ों के अनुसार पिछले 24 घंटों में (रविवार सुबह 8 बजे से लेकर सोमवार सुबह 8 बजे तक) 86,961 नए मामले सामने आए हैं, जिसके बाद अब कुल संक्रमितों की संख्या 54,87,580 हो गई है। इस बीच 1,130 लोगों की मौत हुई है और 93,356 मरीज ठीक हुए हैं। थोड़ी राहत की बात ये है कि यह लगातार तीसरा दिन है जब नए संक्रमण से ज़्यादा संख्या ठीक होने वालों की संख्या है।
