कांग्रेस का महामंथन: कांग्रेस को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए सुधारों के बीच सीडब्ल्यूसी ने सोनिया गांधी में जताया विश्वास

सीडब्ल्यूसी ने कहा, “कांग्रेस आज देश में व्याप्त राजनीतिक सत्तावाद के खिलाफ लाखों भारतीयों की उम्मीदों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है और पार्टी अपनी अपार जिम्मेदारी के प्रति पूरी तरह से जागरूक है। सीडब्ल्यूसी ने कहा कि कांग्रेस 2022 और 2023 के साथ-साथ लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 में चुनावी चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है।
सीडब्ल्यूसी ने भी “सर्वसम्मति से” सोनिया गांधी के नेतृत्व में अपने विश्वास की पुष्टि की और कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष से सामने से नेतृत्व करने, संगठनात्मक कमजोरियों को दूर करने, राजनीतिक चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए आवश्यक और व्यापक संगठनात्मक परिवर्तनों को प्रभावित करने का आग्रह किया। सोनिया गांधी, जिन्होंने अंतरिम अध्यक्ष के रूप में फिर से पार्टी का नेतृत्व संभाला, ने भी अगस्त 2020 में नेताओं के एक वर्ग द्वारा कड़ी आलोचना के बाद पद छोड़ने की पेशकश की थी, जिसे जी -23 कहा जाता है, लेकिन सीडब्ल्यूसी ने उन्हें जारी रखने का आग्रह किया था।
आगे क्या है कांग्रेस की योजना?
संसद के बजट सत्र के बाद एक ‘चिंतन शिविर’ (विचार-मंथन सत्र) आयोजित किया जाएगा और 8 अप्रैल को सत्र समाप्त होने के बाद सीडब्ल्यूसी की एक बार फिर बैठक होगी। राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने सुझाव दिया कि उनके राज्य में ‘चिंतन शिविर’ आयोजित किया जाए।
नेताओं ने कहा कि विधानसभा चुनाव के समापन के बाद आयोजित तीन-चार दिनों के मंथन सत्र में भविष्य के रोडमैप और चुनौतियों से निपटने की रणनीति पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा।
पार्टी के घटते चुनावी भाग्य को पुनर्जीवित करने के प्रयास में बड़े पैमाने पर सुधारों का आह्वान करते हुए, एआईसीसी महासचिव केसी वेणुगोपाल ने कहा कि पार्टी अध्यक्ष संगठन को सुधारने और फिर से मजबूत करने के लिए तुरंत सुधारात्मक उपाय करेंगे।
