उपायुक्त एवं जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद के चेयरमैन श्याम लाल पूनिया नेे कहा कि अभिभावकों को बच्चों के भरविष्य निमा्रण पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। अपने बच्चों को सुसंस्कार दें। कोरोना काल ने हमें आत्मचिंतन के लिए यह बेहतरीन अवसर दिया है, जिसे व्यर्थ नहीं गंवाना चाहिए। जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद के तत्वावधान में दीनबंधु छोटूराम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय मुरथल में बाल महोत्सव-2020 के अंतर्गत सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों की प्रस्तुति के साथ पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह हुआ, बतौर मुख्य अतिथि उपायुक्त पूनिया ने दीप प्रज्वलित करके किया और सांस्कृतिक, शैक्षणिक, रचनात्मक स्पर्धाओं के विजेताओं को पुरस्कार प्रदान किये।
उपायुक्त को स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित करते हुए जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी सुरेखा हुड्डा ने बताया कि इस बार बाल महोत्सव के तहत ऑनलाईन प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। करीब 22 प्रकार की प्रतियोगिताओं में जिलेभर के लगभग 14 हजार छात्र-छात्राओं ने हिस्सा लिया। इन स्पर्धाओं में प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय स्थान पर रहने वाले तथा सांत्वना पुरस्कारों से नवाजे गए विद्यार्थियों को उपायुक्त ने पुरस्कृत किया।
मुख्यमंत्री के सुशासन सहयोगी प्रगुण अग्रवाल, डिविजन चाइल्ड वैल्फेयर ऑफिसर अनिल मलिक, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी जोगेंद्र हुड्डा, जिला रैडक्रॉस सोसायटी की सचिव सरोजबाला, जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी डा. रितु गिल, बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी (गैर-संस्थानिक) आरती, बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी (संस्थानिक) ममता शर्मा, सरदार मोहन सिंह मनोचा, रविंद्र सरोहा, सरदार विक्रम सिंह, दिलबाग सिंह, कविता आदि अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी मौजूद थे। जानकीदास कपूर पब्लिक स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने स्वागत गीत- करते हैं स्वागत सारे से उपायुक्त का अभिनंदन किया।
हिंदू विद्यापीठ की छात्राओं ने शास्त्रीय समूह नृत्य की मधुर प्रस्तुति दी। राजकीय कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय मुरथल अड्डा की छात्राओं ने हरियाणवी समूह नृत्य- दुनियां म्है होग्या नाम म्हारे हरियाणे का की दमदार प्रस्तुति दी। इसी विद्यालय की छात्रा मुस्कान ने एकल हरियाणवी नृत्य की शानदार प्रस्तुति दी। साथ ही ऋषिकुल विद्यापीठ की नन्हीं छात्राओं ने जानदार हरियाणवी समूह नृत्य- मेरा चुंदड़ मंगा दे हो नणदी के बीरा की प्रस्तुति देते हुए खूब तालियां बटोरी। बाल ग्राम राई की ज्योति व कर्मजीत, एसओएस सेक्टर-14 के अनिकेत तथा मेहबूब और सपना बाल कुंज के बादल शामिल रहे, जिन्होंने विभिन्न स्पर्धाओं में सफल प्रदर्शन किया। उपायुक्त ने इन सभी विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कृत किया। साथ ही अन्य विद्यालयों के भी सैंकड़ों विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कार प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया।
