मंडल आयुक्त अनीता यादव ने गुरूवार को नगर निगम सोनीपत के नव निर्वाचित प्रथम महापौर तथा निगम पार्षदों को पद व संविधान की अनुपालना की शपथ दिलाई। महापौर के रूप में निखिल मदान ने शपथ ली।

मंडल आयुक्त अनीता यादव ने गुरूवार को नगर निगम सोनीपत के नव निर्वाचित प्रथम महापौर तथा निगम पार्षदों को पद व संविधान की अनुपालना की शपथ दिलाई। महापौर के रूप में निखिल मदान ने शपथ ली।
दीनबंधु छोटूराम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय मुरथल (डीसीआरयूएसटी) के सभागार में शहर की पहली निकाय सरकार के निर्वाचित मेयर व पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह आयोजित किया गया। समारोह में मंडलायुक्त अनीता यादव ने सर्वप्रथम निखिल मदान को महापौर की शपथ दिलाई। इनके उपरांत उन्होंने सभी निगम पार्षदों को एक-एक करके शपथ दिलाई। इसकी शुरुआत वार्ड नंबर-1 से की गई।
सोनीपत नगर निगम चुनाव अपडेट : कांग्रेस के प्रत्याशी निखिल मदान ने रचा इतिहास बने सोनीपत के पहले मेयर,भाजपा-जजपा के मेयर पद के उम्मीदवार ललित बतरा को 13817 वोटों से हराया
वार्ड-1 के हरिप्रकाश सैनी, वार्ड-2 के सुरेंद्र नैय्यर, वार्ड-3 के सुरेंद्र मदान, वार्ड-4 की बबीता कौशिक, वार्ड-5 के मुकेश सैनी, वार्ड-6 की रेणू कपूर, वार्ड-7 के मुनिराम, वार्ड-8 के पुनीत, वार्ड-9 के राजीव कुमार सरोहा, वार्ड-10 की ममता लूथरा, वार्ड-11 की इंदू वलेचा, वार्ड-12 के लक्ष्मीनारायण तनेजा, वार्ड-13 की संगीता सैनी, वार्ड-14 के सूर्य दहिया, वार्ड-15 के अतुल जैन, वार्ड-16 की मोनिका, वार्ड-17 के नवीन, वार्ड-18 के मंजीत तथा वार्ड-19 के बिजेंद्र मलिक और वार्ड-20 की नव निर्वाचित पार्षद के रूप में नीतू दहिया ने शपथ ग्रहण की।
