पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा आंदोलनरत किसानों को समर्थन देने के लिए आज मकड़ौली टोल स्थित धरना स्थल पर पहुंचे। इस मौक़े पर हुड्डा ने कहा कि ये आंदोलन पूरी तरह शांतिपूर्ण और लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से चल रहा है। उन्होंने ज़िंदगी में कभी इतना अनुशासित आंदोलन नहीं देखा। इसके लिए वो किसानों के जज़्बे को सलाम करते हैं। वो मांग करते हैं कि सरकार हठधर्मिता छोड़कर किसानों की मांगों को माने। क्यूंकि लोकतंत्र में राजहठ का कोई स्थान नहीं होता।
हर इंसान किसान का दिया अनाज खाता है
किसानों को संबोधित करते हुए भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि वो पहले दिन से ही मन, वचन और कर्म से किसानों का समर्थन करते आए हैं। क्योंकि उनकी मांगे पूरी तरह जायज़ हैं। आज जाति, धर्म, क्षेत्र, भाषा और राजनीति से ऊपर उठकर लोग इस आंदोलन का समर्थन कर रहे हैं। क्योंकि हर इंसान किसान का दिया अनाज खाता है।

हर मजदूर और उपभोक्ता का भी आंदोलन
पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हुड्डा ने कहा कि यह सिर्फ किसान का ही नहीं बल्कि हर मजदूर और उपभोक्ता का भी आंदोलन है। क्योंकि तीन कृषि क़ानूनों का उनकी ज़िन्दगी पर भी बड़ा असर पड़ेगा। अगर यह क़ानून लागू होते हैं तो मजदूर और गरीब तबके को सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली से मिलने वाला सस्ता अनाज मिलना धीरे-धीरे बंद हो जाएगा। जमाखोरी की छूट के क़ानून से दाल, सब्ज़ी और अनाज के भाव आसमान पर पहुंच जाएंगे, जिसकी कीमत आम उपभोक्ता को चुकानी पड़ेगी। इसलिए सरकार को चाहिए कि हर नागरिक पर विपरीत असर डालने वाले इन तीन क़ानूनों को रद्द करे और किसान के भले के लिए एमएसपी की गारंटी का क़ानून बनाए।
कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ कांग्रेस का 136वां स्थापना दिवस
इससे पहले भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने रोहतक स्थित पार्टी दफ्तर में कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ कांग्रेस का 136वां स्थापना दिवस मनाया। इस मौक़े पर उन्होंने ध्वजारोहण किया और कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ कांग्रेस की विचारधारा व इतिहास को साझा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने ना सिर्फ देश को आज़ाद करवाने के लिए अंग्रेजों से लड़ाई लड़ी बल्कि आज भी जनहित की लड़ाई को पार्टी आगे बढ़ा रही है। पार्टी मंच से भी हुड्डा ने किसान आंदोलन का ज़िक्र किया और सरकार से किसानों की मांगें मानने की अपील की।
