पुलिस व जनता के बीच सामंजस्य स्थापित करने के उद्देश्य से शनिवार को थाना गन्नौर पुलिस के जवानों ने प्रभारी वजीर रेढू के नेतृत्व में अभियान के चलाया। इस दौरान थाना प्रभारी वजीर रेढू पुलिस टीम के साथ शहर का भ्रमण किया। थाना प्रभारी वजीर रेढू ने लोगों से बातचीत कर समझाया कि पुलिस व आम जनता के बीच आपसी सामंजस्य से अपराध पर अंकुश लगाया जाना संभव है। पुलिस व जनता एक सिक्के के दो पहलू है। हमारा एक ही ध्येय है कि अपराध की समाप्ती, अगर जनता पूरा सहयोग करे तो अपराध व अपराधी दोनो समाप्त हो सकते है। पुलिस और जनता के बीच तालमेल होना जरूरी है। बेशक पुलिस कानून की रक्षक है, पर जनता का भी दायित्व है कि वह आपराधिक तत्वों की जानकारी पुलिस को दे। उन्होंने कहा पुलिस के जनता के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर चलती है और सदैव जनता की सुविधाओ के लिए तत्पर रहता है। लोगों की शिकायत का प्राथमिकता के आधार पर निस्तारण करवाना ही पुलिस का उद्देश्य है। उन्होंने लोगों से आह्वान किया कि लोग बिना संकोच शिकायत दर्ज करवाने के लिए पुलिस थाना में पहुंचे। यदि कोई समस्या आती है तो वे सीधे उनसे मिल सकते हैं।
