पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि देश-विदेश में महाराजा अग्रसेन के वंशजों ने अपनी कार्य क्षमता के साथ कार्य करके अपनी अलग छाप छोड़ी। केंद्र व प्रदेश सरकार भगवान अग्रसेन के सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप समाज में समानता व भाईचारे की स्थापना की दिशा में कार्य कर रही हैं।
शनिवार को महाराजा अग्रसेन जयंती अवसर पर पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन एवं मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने मंडी स्थित महाराजा अग्रसेन धर्मशाला में महाराजा अग्रसेन की प्रतिमा पर पुष्प अर्पित, सेक्टर 14 स्तिथ महाराजा अग्रसेन भवन में आयोजित ध्वजारोहण एवं हवन में आहुति डालने उपरांत अग्रसेन चौक पर प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण करके उन्हें नमन किया। सीएम के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने कहा कि समाज को भावी पीढ़ी में मानव मूल्यों, संस्कार व नैतिकता के विकास पर विशेष ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। हम अपने बच्चों को वही संस्कार और मूल्य दें, जो महाराज अग्रसेन ने हमें दिए हैं। हरिप्रकाश मंगला, संजय सिंगला, महेश जिंदल, जेपी गर्ग आदि मौजूद रहे।
अग्रसेन जयंती के अवसर पर शहर में निकाली प्रभातफेरी
वहीं पर गन्नौर में अखिल भारतीय अग्रवाल सम्मेलन गन्नौर इकाई द्वारा अग्रसेन जयंती के अवसर पर प्रभातफेरी निकाली गई। प्रभातफेरी बड़े मंदिर में शुरु होकर महाराज अग्रसेन चौक से होती हुई मंदिर में आकर संपन्न हुई। प्रभात फेरी में शामिल अग्रवाल समाज के लोग बैंड बाजे की धुन पर थिरकते हुए चल रहे थे। विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने महाराजा अग्रसेन भवन के लिए प्रयास करने की बात कही है। गन्नौर इकाई के प्रधान राजकुमार अग्रवाल ने कहा कि यह महाराजा अग्रसेन की विचारधारा की ही देन है कि आज भी अग्रवाल भाईचारा हमेशा जरूरतमंदों की मदद के लिए आगे है। संदीप सिंघल ने कहा कि सभी को अपने घरों पर 5 दीये जलायें जयंती को मनाएं। नपा उपाध्यक्ष सुनील लंबू, सतीश जैन, गजेंद्र गोयल सहित अन्य समाज के लोग मौजूद रहे।
