केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने शुक्रवार को खुदरा और थोक व्यापार को एमएसएमई (सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम) के तहत शामिल करने की घोषणा की थी, जिसके अनुसार व्यापारियों को अब आरबीआई के दिशानिर्देशों के तहत प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्र के ऋण का लाभ मिलेगा।

उन्होंने कहा कि इस ऐतिहासिक निर्णय से इस क्षेत्र के लिए संरचनात्मक प्रभाव पड़ेगा, जो इसे संरचित करने के इच्छुक व्यवसायों के लिए बेहतर वित्त विकल्प देकर औपचारिक रूप देने में मदद करेगा, उन्होंने कहा, इससे खुदरा एमएसएमई को वह समर्थन मिलेगा जिसकी उन्हें “जीवित रहने, पुनर्जीवित करने और पनपने” की आवश्यकता है।
