एसएस न्यूज.नई दिल्ली। विदेश से धन लेकर बहरे छात्रों और गरीब लोगों को जबरन इस्लाम में धर्मांतरित करने के हालिया आरोप के संबंध में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने शनिवार को दिल्ली और उत्तर प्रदेश में कम से कम छह स्थानों पर छापेमारी की। घटनाक्रम से परिचित अधिकारियों ने पुष्टि की कि राष्ट्रीय राजधानी और आसपास के राज्य में विभिन्न स्थानों पर छापे मारे गए।
छापे के दौरान कई आपत्तिजनक दस्तावेज बरामद किए गए हैं, एचटी ने सीखा है, जो पूरे भारत में मुख्य आरोपी मोहम्मद उमर गौतम और उनके संगठनों द्वारा किए गए बड़े पैमाने पर धार्मिक रूपांतरण का खुलासा करता है। दस्तावेजों में इन अवैध धर्मांतरणों के उद्देश्य से आरोपी संगठनों द्वारा प्राप्त कई करोड़ विदेशी फंडिंग का भी खुलासा हुआ है।

इससे पहले, यूपी पुलिस के आतंकवाद निरोधी दस्ते (एटीएस) ने उमर गौतम को गिरफ्तार किया था, जो कथित तौर पर इस्लामिक दावा सेंटर (आईडीसी) संगठन चलाता था, और उसके सहयोगी, मुफ्ती काजी जहांगीर आलम कासमी – दोनों दिल्ली के जामिया नगर के निवासी थे। पुलिस ने दावा किया कि इस संगठन को धर्म परिवर्तन करने के लिए पाकिस्तान की इंटर-सर्विसेज इंटेलिजेंस (ISI) और अन्य विदेशी एजेंसियों से धन प्राप्त हुआ था।
ईडी के अधिकारियों ने शनिवार को दिल्ली में जिन स्थानों की तलाशी ली, उनमें आईडीसी का कार्यालय और साथ ही मोहम्मद उमर गौतम और मुफ्ती काजी जहांगीर कासमी के आवास शामिल हैं। ये सभी स्थान शहर के जामिया नगर में स्थित हैं।
उत्तर प्रदेश में, ईडी ने लखनऊ में स्थित अल हसन एजुकेशन एंड वेलफेयर फाउंडेशन और गाइडेंस एजुकेशन एंड वेलफेयर सोसाइटी के कार्यालयों पर छापा मारा। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि ये संगठन उमर गौतम द्वारा चलाए जा रहे हैं और इन कथित अवैध धर्मांतरणों को अंजाम देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं।
इस मामले का खुलासा उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस की एटीएस ने पिछले महीने किया था, जिसके बाद ईडी ने मामले में अपनी जांच शुरू करने से पहले कड़े धन शोधन निवारण अधिनियम (पीएमएलए) के प्रावधानों के तहत एक आपराधिक मामला दर्ज किया था।
