नई दिल्ली: रोजाना कोरोनावायरस मामलों में ऊपर की ओर रुझान बनाए रखने के बाद, भारत ने मंगलवार को कोविड के मामलों में थोड़ी गिरावट दर्ज की है। देश में पिछले 24 घंटों में 1,68,063 नए मामले सामने आए हैं, 69,959 ठीक हुए हैं, जबकि 277 लोगों ने वायरस के कारण दम तोड़ दिया।
भारत का ओमाइक्रोन टैली अब 4461 पर है, जिसमें महाराष्ट्र और राजस्थान अत्यधिक पारगम्य संस्करण के सबसे अधिक मामलों की रिपोर्ट कर रहे हैं।

महाराष्ट्र ने कोविड संक्रमण में गिरावट दर्ज की क्योंकि राज्य ने सोमवार को 33,470 नए कोरोनोवायरस मामले दर्ज किए, जो पिछले दिन की तुलना में 10,918 कम है, इसकी संख्या 69,53,514 हो गई, जबकि संक्रमण से जुड़ी आठ ताजा मौतों ने टोल को 1,41,647 तक पहुंचा दिया।
एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में भी कोरोना वायरस के ओमाइक्रोन प्रकार के 31 नए मामले सामने आए हैं, जिससे उनकी संख्या बढ़कर 1,247 हो गई है। अत्यधिक संक्रामक प्रकार के 31 नए मामलों में से 28 पुणे शहर से, दो पुणे ग्रामीण से और एक पिंपरी-चिंचवड़ औद्योगिक टाउनशिप से हैं।
विभाग ने कहा कि नए मामलों और मौतों के साथ, राज्य का सीओवीआईडी -19 टैली 69,53,514 हो गया, जबकि टोल बढ़कर 1,41,647 हो गया।
राज्य में 33,470 नए मामलों और आठ मौतों में से, 13,648 संक्रमण और पांच मौतें अकेले मुंबई शहर से हुईं।
राज्य ने रविवार को 44,388 सीओवीआईडी -19 मामले और 12 मौतें दर्ज की थीं।
