सोनीपत: लाचार, बीमार की बुजुर्गों की सेवा करने की जरुरत: कविता जैन
यह विचार मिशन रोड दिगंबर जैन मंदिर के प्रांगण में बुजुर्ग महिलाओं के कल्याण के लिए कार्य कर रही उमंग संस्था के वार्षिकोत्सव में व्यक्त किए। संस्था द्वारा उन बहुओं को सम्मानित किया गया जिन्होंने अपने लाचार सास ससुर की तन्मयता से सेवा की। संस्था द्वारा 60 वर्ष से ज्यादा आयु की माताओं के लिए योगा कैंप, पिकनिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित करना सराहनीय है।

सोनीपत/नरेंद्र शर्मा परवाना: पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि बुजुर्गों की सेवा सबसे बड़ा तीर्थ है, बुजुर्ग लाचार एवं बीमार हैं तो उसका ख्याल रखने की जरुरत है क्योंकि हमारी पहचान हमारे मां बाप के नाम से ही होती है।

समाज सेविका श्रीमती शांता जैन ने कहा कि आधुनिक युग में वृद्ध मां बाप को घरों में फालतू की वस्तु समझना प्रचलन सा हो गया है, इसी का परिणाम है कि वृद्ध आश्रमों की संख्या बढ़ती जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि विशेषकर बहुओं को अपने पति के मां-बाप को अपना माता-पिता मानना चाहिए यही हमारी संस्कृति एवं परंपरा है।
कार्यक्रम में जिन बुजुर्ग महिलाओं का जन्मदिन था, सामूहिक रूप से उनका जन्मदिन मनाया गया। जैन समाज के अध्यक्ष एसके जैन एडवोकेट, स्प्रेड स्माइल संस्था अध्यक्ष नितिन जैन, ऋतु जैन, रेनू मित्तल, शैली जैन, शिल्पा जैन, शिखा जैन, अनिष्का जैन, नेहा अग्रवाल, मोना जैन, संगीता मंगला, प्रियंका जैन, शिखा गोयल, राखी शामिल रहे।
