उन्होंने बताया कि महर्षि कश्यप प्राचीन वैदिक ॠषियों में प्रमुख ॠषि थे। इनका उल्लेख ॠग्वेद में हुआ है। इनकी गणना सप्तऋषि गणों में की जाती थी।

सोनीपत/जीजेडी न्यूज: विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार ने नगर निगम आयुक्त को पत्र लिखकर महर्षि कश्यप मार्ग बनाने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुरथल जीटी रोड से सोनीपत मुरथल चौक तक सड़क का नामकरण महर्षि कश्यप मार्ग रखा जाए।
विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार ने बताया कि बीते दिनों मुरथल में आयोजित महर्षि कश्यप जयंती समारोह के दौरान लोगों ने महर्षि कश्यप मार्ग बनाने की मांग रखी थी। उन्होंने बताया कि महर्षि कश्यप प्राचीन वैदिक ॠषियों में प्रमुख ॠषि थे। इनका उल्लेख ॠग्वेद में हुआ है। इनकी गणना सप्तऋषि गणों में की जाती थी। हिन्दू मान्यता अनुसार इनके वंशज सृष्टि के प्रसार में सहायक हुए है। इन्हें परमपिता ब्रह्मा जी का अवतार माना गया है, महर्षि कश्यप द्वारा संपूर्ण सृष्टि की सृजना में दिए गए महायोगदान की यशोगाथा हमारे वेदों, पुराणों, स्मृतियों, उपनिषदों एवं अन्य अनेक धार्मिक साहित्यों में है, जिसके कारण उन्हें सृष्टि के सृजक उपाधि से विभूषित किया जाता है। महर्षि कश्यप पिघले हुए सोने के समान तेजवान थे।
महर्षि कश्यप जी ऋषि-मुनियों में श्रेष्ठ माने जाते थे। मुनिराज कश्यप जी का आश्रम मेरू पर्वत के शिखर पर था, जहां पर वे ब्रह्म जी के ध्यान में मग्न रहते थे। महर्षि कश्यप राग-द्वेष रहित, परोपकारी, चरित्रवान और प्रजापालक थे। वे निर्भीक एवं निलोर्भी थे। कश्यप मुनि जी निरन्तर धर्मोपदेश करते थे, जिनके कारण उन्हें महर्षि जैसी श्रेष्ठतम उपाधि हासिल हुई। आज हमे उनके दिखाए मार्ग पर चलकर उनके सिद्धांतों को युवाओं के बीच प्रचार-प्रसार करने की जरूरत है ताकि आज की पीढ़ी भी उनके दिखाए मार्ग का अनुसरण कर समाज के विकास में योगदान दे। उन्होंने कमीश्नर से मांग की है कि समाज की तरक्की के लिए जल्द से जल्द मुरथल-सोनीपत मार्ग का नामकरण महर्षि कश्यप मार्ग रखा जाए।
