कंप्यूटर साइंस इंजीनियरिंग के प्रो. सुखदीप सिंह सांगवान ने कहा कि इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स से अछूता नहीं है, यातायात, ऊर्जा एवं स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं मंे महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे सकते हैं। प्रो.सांगवान ने कहा कि जो बुजुर्ग चलने में असमर्थ है, इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स की मद्द से सैंसर लगाकर उनके शरीर में हो रही क्रियाओं और प्रतिक्रियाओं का अध्ययन करने के बाद चिकित्सक की सहायता से मद्द पहुंचाई जा सकती है। प्रोग्राम कोर्डीनेटर प्रो.सुमन ने कहा कि 14 प्रदेशों से 95 प्रतिभागी शामिल हुए। छत्तीसगढ़, तेलंगाना, केरला, तमिलनाडु, महाराष्ट्र, मध्य प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, राजस्थान, उत्तर प्रदेश, आंध्र प्रदेश, दिल्ली, पंजाब व झारखंड से ऑनलाइन प्रतिभागी जुड़े।
