राजीव जैन ने रविवार को कामी रोड पर ऋषि कॉलोनी एक्सटेंशन में नुक्कड़ सभा बोल रहे थे। तीन वर्ष पूर्व भी पुरानी चुंगी लिमिट की 11 कॉलोनियां तत्कालीन मंत्री कविता जैन द्वारा वैध करवाई गई थी और उनमें अमरूत योजना के तहत सीवरेज, पानी, स्ट्रीट लाइट लगवा कर सड़कें बनवाने का कार्य तेजी से किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के दस वर्षों के शासन काल में इन कालोनियों में विकास के नाम पर एक ही भी ईट नहीं लगी थी

भाजपा नेता ने कहा कि हम चुनाव हारे या जीते इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता पिछले तीस वर्षों से शहर के विकास की लगातार लड़ाई लड़ रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा सरकार के पिछले कार्यकाल में शुरू किए गए विकास कार्य लगातार जारी है और उनका फल अब शहर की जनता को मिलना शुरू हो जायेगा। कॉलोनी की समस्याओं का जिक्र करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कॉलोनी वैध होने के बाद तुरंत सीवरेज, पानी का कार्य शुरू कराया जायेगा और बिजली के कुछ खंबे लग चुके हैं बाकी जल्दी लगवा दिये जायेगे। सभा में प्रधान हरि प्रकाश सिंह, पार्षद हरि सैनी, नरेश, हरिश, सुखपाल योगी, नीटू योगी, मामन चौधरी, संजय जैन, पप्पू प्रजापत, देवेंद्र, नोनी देवी, कांता, मोनी, संतरा देवी मौजूद थे।
