सोनीपत: पुलिस फोटो प्रदर्शनी का शुभारंभ एसपी हिमांशु गर्ग ने किया
पुलिस अधीक्षक हिमांशु गर्ग ने बताया कि पुलिस जवान जो ड्यूटी देने के दौरान शहीद हो गए उनके चित्र भी यहां लगाए गए हैं , जिससे उनकी शहादत को युवा याद कर पुलिस जवानों की बहादुरी को नमन होता रहेगा। आईपीएस और सिपाही की ड्रेस भी म्यूजियम में जानकारियां देती रहेगी संग्रहालय में खासतौर से 1874 और उसके बाद की जितनी भी वस्तुएं संग्रहालय में लगाई गई हैं।
सोनीपत: विश्व धरोहर सप्ताह के अंतर्गत स्वर्णप्रस्थ संग्रहालय में गुरुवार को बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पुलिस अधीक्षक हिमांशु गर्ग ने 194 वर्ष पहले चलन में रही पुलिस वर्दी और 1947 के बाद इस्तेमाल हुई पुलिस जवानों की ड्रेस से संबंधित फोटो प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन किया।

विश्व धरोहर सप्ताह के दौरान छठे दिन प्रदर्शनी में खासतौर से पुलिस ड्यूटी के दौरान अपने प्राणों की आहुति देने वाले शहीद रणधीर सिंह, शेर सिंह, अशोक कुमार, रामकिशन, कप्तान सिंह, प्रदीप, यशपाल, रविंद्र आदि जवानों की शहादत को याद दिलाने वाले फोटो प्रदर्शित हैं। खास तौर से 1975 से वर्ष 2009 तक के हेलमेट, 1980 का बेत, शरीर सुरक्षा कवच, पुलिस वर्दी का इतिहास 1829, 1853, 1900, 1947 से वर्ष 2000 तक भी दर्शाया गया है। हरियाणा पुलिस प्रोफाइल चार्ट, आईजी वर्दी और राष्ट्रपति मेडल, पुलिस जवान और वर्दी, ब्रिटिश जमाने का छितर और हथकड़ी आदि से भी संबंधित जानकारी यहां पहुंचने वाले स्कूली बच्चे और पर्यटक ले सकेंगे।
ब्यूटीफिकेशन सोसाइटी के सदस्य सचिव राजेश खत्री ने बताया कि तपस्वी बाबा सतपाल नाथ, सत्यवान तोमर, अमित कुमार, ओल्ड पुलिस चौकी से पुलिस जवानों के अतिरिक्त अन्य कई गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित रहे। ब्यूटीफिकेशन सोसाइटी के सदस्य सचिव राजेश खत्री ने एसपी हिमांशु का स्वागत किया, एक स्मृति चिन्ह के अतिरिक्त देश के प्रमुख संग्रहालय से संबंधित पुस्तक सौंपने के साथ संग्रहालय से संबंधित जानकारी दी।
