मुंबई: सत्तारूढ़ शिवसेना और उसके युवा संगठन युवा सेना के कार्यकर्ताओं और भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के समर्थकों के बीच सोमवार को महाराष्ट्र में कई जगहों पर झड़पें हुईं, क्योंकि पूर्व में केंद्रीय मंत्री नारायण राणे की एक टिप्पणी पर कई विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू हो गए थे। देश के स्वतंत्रता वर्ष से अनभिज्ञ होने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे को “कसकर थप्पड़” मारा।
इस बीच, राणे को गिरफ्तार करने के लिए एक पुलिस दल भेजा गया है, जिसके खिलाफ इस मुद्दे पर अब तक कम से कम तीन प्राथमिकी दर्ज की जा चुकी हैं। हालांकि केंद्रीय मंत्री ने अपने बयान का बचाव किया है। जहां शिवसेना के कुछ कार्यकर्ताओं ने नासिक में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के एक पार्टी कार्यालय पर पथराव किया, वहीं कुछ अन्य मुंबई में राणे के जुहू स्थित आवास के बाहर जमा हो गए और उनके खिलाफ नारेबाजी की।

युवा सेना के एक नेता ने कहा कि विरोध अपने आप हो रहा था और “नाराज” कार्यकर्ताओं को आंदोलन स्थलों पर आने के लिए नहीं कहा गया था। युवा सेना के पदाधिकारी वरुण सरदेसाई ने कहा “हमने किसी को फोन नहीं किया लेकिन युवा सेना के कार्यकर्ता नारायण सेना द्वारा की गई अपमानजनक टिप्पणी से नाराज हैं और खुद आए हैं। हम उन्हें अपनी ताकत दिखाएंगे।
बाद में पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए सरदेसाई ने कहा कि युवा सेना के कार्यकर्ता शिवसेना सुप्रीमो के लिए डंडे का सामना करने के लिए तैयार हैं। सरदेसाई ने कहा, “उद्धव ठाकरे हमारे भगवान हैं और अगर कोई उनका अपमान करने की हिम्मत करता है, तो हम कानून-व्यवस्था की परवाह नहीं करेंगे।”
