कमोदा स्थित ऐतिहासिक काम्यकेश्वर तीर्थ में शुक्ल पक्ष की रविवारीय सप्तमी पर श्रद्धालुओं ने श्रद्धा की डुबकी लगाई। तीर्थ में स्थित शिव मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं ने दूध, दही, गंगाजल आदि चढ़ाकर सुख-समृद्धि की कामना की। तीर्थ पर वैदिक मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ ब्राह्माणों ने विश्व शांति यज्ञ किया।

एसएस न्यूज. कुरुक्षेत्र। कमोदा स्थित ऐतिहासिक काम्यकेश्वर तीर्थ में शुक्ल पक्ष की रविवारीय सप्तमी पर श्रद्धालुओं ने श्रद्धा की डुबकी लगाई। तीर्थ में स्थित शिव मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं ने दूध, दही, गंगाजल आदि चढ़ाकर सुख-समृद्धि की कामना की। तीर्थ पर वैदिक मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ ब्राह्माणों ने विश्व शांति यज्ञ किया। यज्ञ के उपरांत भंडारे का आयोजन हुआ। उसमें साधु-महात्माओं और ग्रामीणों ने प्रसाद ग्रहण किया। विश्व शांति यज्ञ में जयराम आश्रम की ओर से सत्यवान एवं ब्लाक समिति थानेसर के चेयरमैन देवीदयाल शर्मा पूर्णाहुति डाली।

जयराम आश्रम की ओर से विशेष रूप से पहले सत्यावान ने विश्व शांति यज्ञ की शुरूआत करते हुए कहा कि महाभारत कालीन काम्यकेश्वर तीर्थ पर शुक्ल पक्ष रविवारीय सप्तमी के दिन पूजन का विशेष महत्व है। पुराण में वर्णित है कि शुक्ल पक्ष की रविवारीय सप्तमी के दिन स्नान करने के लिए पाडवों ने काफी लंबा इतजार किया फिर भी उनको इस दिन स्नान करने का सौभाग्य नहीं मिला। इस पवित्र सरोवर में स्नान करने से असाध्य रोगों से मुक्ति व संतान प्राप्ति होती है। मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार किया जा रहा है, तालाब के नवीनीकरण से लेकर नया भवन बनाया जा रहा है, जिससे आने वाले दिनों में मंदिर की शोभा बढ़ेगी और श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या में भी इजाफा होगा। ग्रामीण सुमिंद्र शास्त्री ने बताया कि इस स्थान पर मात्र प्रवेश से ही मनुष्य मोक्ष की प्राप्ति कर पुण्य का भागी बनता है।

वनवास के दौरान पाडव आठ वर्ष 11 मास तक इसी धरा पर रहे। उनके साथ 10 हजार के करीब शास्त्रोतियानिष्ठ ब्राह्मण रहते थे, जो नित्य प्रति भगवान शिव का अभिषेक व अनुष्ठान किया करते थे। नीतिवेता विदुर जी, वेदव्यास जी, मारकंडेय जी एवं लोमहर्षण ऋषि जी नित्यप्रति महापुरुषों के जीवन का वृतात इसी धरा पर बताते थे। समाज एवं ब्राह्मणों के उद्धार के लिए सरस्वती यहां पर कुंड के रूप में प्रकट होकर पश्चिम वाहिनी होकर बहने लगी। उसी कुंज में साक्षात भगवान सूर्य नारायण पूषा नाम से प्रत्येक रविवार को विद्यमान रहते है। मंदिर परिसर में कई दुकानें भी लगी, जिस पर लोगों ने खरीदारी की। इस मौके पर सुखदेव कमोदा, सोनू शर्मा कमोदा, धर्मपाल शर्मा, लालचंद, कर्मचंद सहित बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण व श्रद्धालु मौजूद रहे।
