राष्ट्रपति चुनाव: ममता बनर्जी ने विपक्षी उम्मीदवारों के रूप में फारूक अब्दुल्ला, गोपालकृष्ण गांधी के नामों का रखा प्रस्ताव
भाकपा नेता बिनॉय विश्वम ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, "आज की विपक्षी बैठक में, सभी दलों ने राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए शरद पवार के नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा, लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि वह अपने स्वास्थ्य के कारण इसे अभी नहीं ले सकते। सभी दलों ने उनसे अपने फैसले पर पुनर्विचार करने का अनुरोध किया।
नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: तृणमूल कांग्रेस (टीएमसी) प्रमुख और पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी की अध्यक्षता में आगामी राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए एक आम उम्मीदवार पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए मंगलवार को कई विपक्षी दलों ने एक बैठक में भाग लिया। बैठक राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में कॉन्स्टिट्यूशन क्लब ऑफ इंडिया में आयोजित की गई थी। विपक्षी दलों ने एक बार फिर राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए राकांपा सुप्रीमो शरद पवार के नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा, लेकिन दिग्गज नेता ने कथित तौर पर इस प्रस्ताव को अस्वीकार कर दिया।
भाकपा नेता बिनॉय विश्वम ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, “आज की विपक्षी बैठक में, सभी दलों ने राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए शरद पवार के नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा, लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि वह अपने स्वास्थ्य के कारण इसे अभी नहीं ले सकते। सभी दलों ने उनसे अपने फैसले पर पुनर्विचार करने का अनुरोध किया।
इस बीच, विपक्षी नेताओं ने राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में एक आम उम्मीदवार को मैदान में उतारने का प्रस्ताव पारित किया। माकपा नेता सुधींद्र कुलकर्णी ने कहा, “एक उम्मीदवार जो वास्तव में संविधान के संरक्षक के रूप में काम कर सकता है और मोदी सरकार को भारतीय लोकतंत्र और भारत के सामाजिक ताने-बाने को और नुकसान पहुंचाने से रोक सकता है।”
चुनाव 18 जुलाई को होंगे।
ममता बनर्जी ने संवाददाताओं से कहा आज यहां कई पार्टियां थीं। हमने तय किया है कि हम केवल एक आम सहमति वाले उम्मीदवार को चुनेंगे। हर कोई इस उम्मीदवार को हमारा समर्थन देगा। हम दूसरों से सलाह मशविरा करेंगे। यह एक अच्छी शुरुआत है। हम कई महीनों के बाद एक साथ बैठे, और हम इसे फिर से करेंगे।
बनर्जी ने राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए विपक्षी उम्मीदवारों के रूप में फारूक अब्दुल्ला और गोपालकृष्ण गांधी के नामों का भी सुझाव दिया।
राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में भाजपा नीत राजग के खिलाफ संयुक्त उम्मीदवार उतारने पर आम सहमति बनाने के लिए विपक्षी दलों की महत्वपूर्ण बैठक में 17 विपक्षी दलों ने भाग लिया।
खबरों के मुताबिक, कांग्रेस, समाजवादी पार्टी, राकांपा, द्रमुक, राजद और वाम दलों सहित पार्टियों ने दो घंटे से अधिक समय तक चली बैठक में भाग लिया। हालांकि, आप, शिअद, एआईएमआईएम, तेलंगाना राष्ट्र समिति (टीआरएस) और ओडिशा में सत्तारूढ़ बीजद बैठक में शामिल नहीं हुए।
बैठक में शामिल होने वालों में शिवसेना, भाकपा, माकपा, भाकपा (माले), नेशनल कांफ्रेंस, पीडीपी, जद (एस), आरएसपी, आईयूएमएल, रालोद और झामुमो के नेता शामिल थे।

बैठक में भाग लेने वाले नेताओं में राकांपा के शरद पवार और प्रफुल्ल पटेल, कांग्रेस के मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, जयराम रमेश और रणदीप सुरजेवाला, जद (एस) के एच डी देवेगौड़ा और एचडी कुमारस्वामी, सपा के अखिलेश यादव, महबूबा मुफ्ती शामिल थे। कांग्रेस पीडीपी और नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के उमर अब्दुल्ला।
रक्षा मंत्री और भाजपा नेता राजनाथ सिंह ने आज विपक्षी नेताओं की बैठक से पहले राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के उम्मीदवारों पर उनके विचार जानने के लिए विपक्षी नेताओं ममता बनर्जी, मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे और अखिलेश यादव से बात की।
