प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज केदारनाथ धाम के दौरे पर हैं. वह प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद से 5वीं बार केदारनाथ गए हैं। उन्होंने शुक्रवार को आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य की 12 फीट लंबी और 35 टन वजनी प्रतिमा का अनावरण किया। वह 400 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की पुनर्निर्माण परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास भी करेंगे। इससे पहले प्रधानमंत्री ने प्रसिद्ध केदारनाथ मंदिर में आरती की।

गोरखपुर से, उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने केदारनाथ मंदिर में आरती करते हुए पीएम मोदी का सीधा प्रसारण देखा। पीएम मोदी ने शहद, घी और बेलपत्र से बाबा केदारनाथ का रुद्राभिषेक किया. इसके बाद उन्होंने बाबा केदारनाथ की आरती की। केदारनाथ मंदिर की परिक्रमा के बाद, पीएम ने मंदिर के गर्भगृह में भगवान शिव की पूजा की।
