नगर निगम में एसडीओ नरेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि डीसी के आदेश पर उसे सिविल लाइन थाना क्षेत्र में ड्यूटी मजिस्ट्रेट लगाया गया है वह गुरुवार रात को ड्यूटी पर थे। उन्हें सूचना मिली कि बहालगढ़ रोड पर एम्बुलेंस संचालक का कार्यालय है। उसके मालिक मंजीत के पास तीन-चार एम्बुलेंस है। सभी एम्बुलेंस में ऑक्सीजन गैस सिलिंडर है। मंजीत ने अपनी क्रूजर एम्बुलेंस में से दो ऑक्सीजन सिलिंडर 500 रुपये में भरवाकर 5000 रुपये ज्यादा लेकर बेच दिए हैं। उन्होंने विवेकानंद चौक पर सिक्का कालोनी चौकी प्रभारी नरेंद्र व एचसी नरेश मिले। उनको साथ लेकर एम्बुलेंस मालिक के कार्यालय में पहुंचे। एम्बुलेंस मालिक मंजीत मिला। उसकी एम्बुलेंस मे दो सिलिंडर नहीं मिले। उसने बताया कि उसने दो सिलिंडर बेच दिए हैं। आरोपी ने कोविड-19 के आदेशों की उल्लंघना की है। पुलिस ने मंजीत को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उसके खिलाफ 7-10-55 ईसी एक्ट, 58 आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम व 188 आईपीसी के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया है।
