उपायुक्त शरणदीप कौर बराड़ ने कहा कि कोरोना वायरस को फैलने से रोकने तथा लोगों की सुरक्षा के लिए फेस मास्क के बिना लघु सचिवालय में प्रवेश करने पर प्रतिबंध के साथ- साथ अब प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का टैंपरेचर भी चैक किया जाएगा। इसके लिए प्रवेश द्वार पर नियुक्त सुरक्षा कर्मी को थर्मल स्कैनिंग मशीन उपलब्ध करवा दी गई है।
उपायुक्त शरणदीप कौर बराड़ ने जारी आदेशों में कहा है कि लघु सचिवालय व सभी विभागों के अधिकारी व कर्मचारी अपने-अपने कार्योलयों में मास्क पहनकर ही पहुंचे। इतना ही नहीं कुरुक्षेत्र जिले के आम नागरिक भी घर से बाहर निकलते समय मास्क का अवश्य प्रयोग करे। इन आदेशों की अवहेलना पर नियमानुसार कार्रवाई भी अमल में लाई जाएगी। इन आदेशों की पालना करवाने के लिए लघु सचिवालय के प्रवेश द्वार पर बकायदा नोटिस चस्पाया गया है और सुरक्षा कर्मियों की डयूटी लगाई गई है। जो व्यक्ति बिना मास्क के लघु सचिवालय आते है उनको बकायदा हिदायत दी जा रही है।

उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के खतरे को देखते हुए व कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए आमजन को सार्वजनिक स्थानों व घर से बाहर निकलते समय मास्क पहनना बहुत जरुरी है और मास्क ना पहनने पर सरकार के निर्देशानुसार जुर्माना लगाने का भी प्रावधान रखा गया है। केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा अपने निर्देशों में स्पष्टï किया है कि आमजन की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए जनहित में सभी को सार्वजनिक स्थानों व कार्यस्थल पर जाते समय अपने चेहरे पर फेस कवर, मास्क, सर्जिकल मास्क, घर में बना हुआ मास्क या फिर साफ कपड़े से अपना चेहरा ढकऩा जरुरी है।

उन्होंने आमजन से अपील करते हुए कहा कि जरुरी कार्य के लिए घर से बाहर जाते समय अपने चेहरे को मास्क, कपड़े, फेस कवर आदि से जरुर ढकें और सार्वजनिक स्थानों व कार्यस्थलों पर ना थूके ताकि कोरोना वायरस को फैलने से रोका जा सके। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि लोगों की सुरक्षा के साथ-साथ अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण से बचाने के लिए ही लघु सचिवालय के प्रवेश द्वार ऑटोमैटिक सेनिटाईजेशन टर्नल और अब थर्मल स्कैनिंग मशीन उपलब्ध करवा दी गई है। इस कार्य में प्रत्येक नागरिक प्रशासन का सहयोग करें।
