लखीमपुर मामला: लखीमपुर में किसानों को कुचलने के मामले में मंत्री पुत्र आशीष मिश्रा की जेल से हुई रिहाई
लखीमपुर खीरी के तिकुनिया थाना क्षेत्र के तहत तीन अक्टूबर को हुई हिंसा में आठ लोगों की जान लेने का दावा करने वाले आशीष मिश्रा मुख्य आरोपी हैं। उसे 9 अक्टूबर को गिरफ्तार किया गया था।
नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: केंद्रीय गृह राज्य मंत्री अजय मिश्रा टेनी के बेटे आशीष मिश्रा, जिन्हें लखीमपुर खीरी मामले में मुख्य आरोपी के रूप में नामित किया गया था, मंगलवार को जमानत मिलने के बाद जेल से बाहर आ गए। इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने 10 फरवरी को आशीष मिश्रा को लखीमपुर कांड में जमानत दे दी थी।
लखीमपुर खीरी के तिकुनिया थाना क्षेत्र के तहत तीन अक्टूबर को हुई हिंसा में आठ लोगों की जान लेने का दावा करने वाले आशीष मिश्रा मुख्य आरोपी हैं। उसे 9 अक्टूबर को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। निचली अदालत द्वारा उनकी जमानत याचिका खारिज होने के बाद वह इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय चले गए थे। न्यायमूर्ति राजीव सिंह की पीठ ने 18 जनवरी, 2022 को उनकी याचिका पर सुनवाई की और अपना आदेश सुरक्षित रख लिया, जिसकी घोषणा गुरुवार को उन्हें जमानत देने की घोषणा की गई थी।
आशीष मिश्रा के वकील सलिल कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि पुलिस अपनी रिपोर्ट में साबित नहीं कर पाई कि आशीष उस वाहन में मौजूद था जिसने किसानों को मौत के घाट उतारा और दावा किया कि पुलिस ने उचित जांच नहीं की। उन्होंने कहा कि बचाव पक्ष की ओर से 192 हलफनामे दाखिल किए गए जिसमें कहा गया कि आशीष मिश्रा मौके पर नहीं थे लेकिन पुलिस ने हलफनामे को अपनी जांच और चार्जशीट में शामिल नहीं किया। श्रीवास्तव ने दावा किया कि आशीष का ड्राइवर हरिओम मिश्रा थार जीप चला रहा था जिससे किसान की कुचलकर मौत हो गई थी, इसलिए उसकी गलती है।
केंद्रीय मंत्री के बेटे की ओर से पेश वकील ने अदालत से कहा था कि उसका मुवक्किल निर्दोष है और उसके खिलाफ कोई सबूत नहीं है कि उसने किसानों को कुचलने के लिए एक वाहन के चालक को उकसाया। याचिका का विरोध करते हुए अतिरिक्त महाधिवक्ता वी के शाही ने कहा था कि घटना के समय आशीष मिश्रा उस कार में थे, जिसने किसानों को कुचला।
पिछले साल 3 अक्टूबर को हुई लखीमपुर खीरी हिंसा ने देश को झकझोर कर रख दिया था। केंद्रीय मंत्री अजय मिश्रा के एक काफिले सहित चार किसानों की कारों के काफिले के नीचे कुचलकर मौत हो गई। इस घटना ने एक पत्रकार के जीवन का भी दावा किया।
उपमुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य के एक कार्यक्रम के लिए तेनी के पैतृक स्थान की यात्रा के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे किसानों के एक समूह ने काफिला को कुचल दिया था।
