इस पृथ्वी से जिन नक्षत्रों का निकट संबंध है, उन्हीं को ग्रहकी संज्ञा दी जा सकती है। यह समस्त ग्रह अपने निश्चित अंतरपर निश्चित समय में पृथ्वी के चारों ओर फेरे लगाते हैं। प्रत्येक ग्रह की स्वयं की किरणें (रश्मियाँ) होती हैं।
मुंबई/जीजेडी न्यूज: रत्न और मानव आकाश में घूमने वाले अनंत कोटी नक्षत्रों में से कुछ नक्षत्र हमें खुली आँखों से नज़र आते हैं। किंतु उन असंख्य नक्षत्रों को ग्रह नहीं कह सकते।
इस पृथ्वी से जिन नक्षत्रों का निकट संबंध है, उन्हीं को ग्रहकी संज्ञा दी जा सकती है। यह समस्त ग्रह अपने निश्चित अंतरपर निश्चित समय में पृथ्वी के चारों ओर फेरे लगाते हैं। प्रत्येक ग्रह की स्वयं की किरणें (रश्मियाँ) होती हैं। पृथ्वी के चारों और फेरे लगाते समय इन ग्रहों की रश्मि किरण कम या अधिक स्वरूप में पृथ्वी पर पड़ती हैं और इन्हीं रश्मि किरणों का अच्छा-बुरा प्रभाव समस्त मानव जीवन पर होता है।
उदाहरणरूप गर्मी के दिनों में सूर्य सीधा हमारे सर के उपर होता है। इसलिए उसकी किरणें भी सीधी पृथ्वी पर गिरकर पृथ्वी पर रहने वाले प्राणी मात्र पर प्रभाव डालती हैं। समस्त प्राणी जीवन गर्मी से व्याकुल हो जाता है। इसके विपरीत जाड़े के मौसम में सूर्य की किरणें सीधी न होकर तिरछी गिरने लगती हैं, तो उन किरणों की तीव्रता का आभास बिलकुल कम होता है। समस्त प्राणी मात्र सर्दी से सिकुड़ने लगते हैं। सूर्य, चंद्र, मंगल, बुध, गुरु, शुक्र, शनि, राहु और केतु इन ग्रहों का पृथ्वीसे इतना निकटका संबंध है कि इन शक्तिमान ग्रहों की स्वाभाविक गति का मानव प्राणी से वक्रत्व आने पर जीवन में व्याधियाँ, रोग उत्पन्न हो जाते हैं। इसके विपरीत इन ग्रहों की गति, अनुकूल रहनेप र अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से मानवी जीवन सुखी और समृद्ध रहेगा।
विधाताकी इन अनोखी, अद्भुत एवं विचित्र सृष्टि में मानव मात्र एक ऐसा प्राणी है, जिसने अपनी वैज्ञानिक शक्ति और परीक्षण के आधार से अपना उच्च स्थान बना लिया है। मानवीय जीवन और सुख – दुःख का नवग्रहों के साथ क्या घनिष्ठ संबंध है, इसको मानव ने अपनी विज्ञान शक्ति से जानकर ग्रहों के उन संपूर्ण तत्वों का अन्वेषण किया है। विद्वानों ने यह सिद्ध करके दिखाया है कि माणिक, मोती, प्रवाळ, पन्ना, पुखराज, हीरा, नीलम, गोमेद, लसनिया, इन प्रमुख रत्नों की क्रमशः सूर्य, चंद्र, मंगल, बुध, गुरु, शुक्र, शनि, राहु और केतु इन ग्रहों द्वारा पृथ्वी पर गिरने वाली रश्मि किरणों के विशेष तत्व के ताप प्रभाव से ही होती है और इसी वजह से जो इन नवग्रहों का अपना असली रंग है, वही रंग उस ग्रह से संबंधित रत्न का हो जाता है। इसी तरह इन रत्नों में उन ग्रहों की विशेष शक्ति सन्मिलित होती है। इसलिए रत्न धारण करने से उस रत्न से संबंधित ग्रह की रश्मि किरणों के प्रभावसे सुख-दुःख, रोग, शक्ति, शांति, अशांति इत्यादि परिणाम का परिचय मानव को होता है। इस प्रकार पृथ्वी पर उत्पन्न होने वाले रत्नों का अच्छा-बुरा प्रभाव मानव जीवन पर होता है।
