पूर्व विधायक पदम सिंह दहिया के नेतृत्व में जजपा कार्यकर्ताओं ने बस अड्डा चौक पर स्थापित जननायक देवीलाल की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण एवं पुष्प वर्षा की। युगपुरूष की जयंती के मौके पर हवन यज्ञ किया गया, जिसमें जजपा के पदाधिकारियों और कार्यकर्ताओं ने आहुति डालते हुए जननायक की जय-जयकार के नारे लगाये। कार्यकर्ताओं ने लड्डू बांटकर जयंती मनाई। इसके बाद जिलाध्यक्ष के नेतृत्व में कार्यकर्ताओं ने बड़ी संख्या में नूंह के लिए प्रस्थान किया।
इसके पहले जजपा के पदाधिकारियों व कार्यकर्ताओं का उत्साहवद्र्धन करते हुए जिलाध्यक्ष पदम सिंह दहिया ने सभी को जननायक की जयंती की बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह जयंती समारोह सम्मान दिवस के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है, जिसे लेकर जजपा का हर कार्यकर्ता उत्साहित है। पूर्व उप-प्रधानमंत्री को हरियाणा निर्माता के रूप में जाना जाता है, जिन्होंने प्रदेश को नई बुलंदियों पर पहुंचाया।
पूर्व विधायक दहिया ने कहा कि नूंह में जननायक देवीलाल की विशाल प्रतिमा स्थापित की जा रही है, जिसके साक्षी सोनीपत का जजपा संगठन भी बनेगा। नूंह में आयोजित किया जा रहा समारोह कार्यकर्ताओं में नये उत्साह का संचार करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि देवीलाल किसान, गरीब व मजदूर और आम आदमी के मसीहा थे। इन वर्गों के कल्याण को उन्होंने सदैव प्राथमिकता दी। यही कारण है कि आज भी वे इन वर्गों के लोगों के दिलों पर राज कर रहे हैं।
