पुलिस ने बुधवार को बताया कि हंदवाड़ा जिले में एक मुठभेड़ में आतंकी संगठन हिजबुल मुजाहिदीन के एक शीर्ष आतंकवादी को ढेर कर दिया गया। मेहराजुद्दीन हलवाई उर्फ उबैद आतंकी संगठन के सबसे पुराने आतंकवादियों में से एक था।
एसएस न्यूज.जम्मू-कश्मीर। पुलिस ने बुधवार को बताया कि हंदवाड़ा जिले में एक मुठभेड़ में आतंकी संगठन हिजबुल मुजाहिदीन के एक शीर्ष आतंकवादी को ढेर कर दिया गया। मेहराजुद्दीन हलवाई उर्फ उबैद आतंकी संगठन के सबसे पुराने आतंकवादियों में से एक था। कश्मीर के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक (आईजीपी) विजय कुमार ने हलवाई की हत्या को ‘बड़ी सफलता’ बताया है।
कश्मीर जोन पुलिस ने एक ट्वीट में आईजीपी कश्मीर के हवाले से कहा, “एचएम आतंकी संगठन के सबसे पुराने और शीर्ष कमांडरों में से एक मेहराजुद्दीन हलवाई उर्फ उबैद हंदवाड़ा मुठभेड़ में निष्प्रभावी हो गया। वह कई आतंकी अपराधों में शामिल था। एक बड़ी सफलता।”
