गिराेहबंदी, हत्या, लूट चोरी, अपहरण, जान से मारने की धमकी देने अवैध हथियार रखने के आदि के 28 मामलों में संलिप्त अन्तर्राज्जीय गैंगेस्टर रामकरण बैंयापुर को सीआईए-2 स्टाफ सोनीपत की पुलिस ने उस समय गिरफ्तार किया जब यह विदेश भागने की फिराक में था।

सहायक पुलिस अधीक्षक गोाहना, निकिता खटटर ने पत्रकारों एंव मीडिया कर्मियों को बताया कि सीआईए-2 स्टाफ सोनीपत प्रभारी निरीक्षक अनिल कुमार अपनी पुलिस टीम के साथ जिसमें उपनिरीक्षक आनन्द सिंह, सहायक उप निरीक्षक सन्दीप, मुख्य सिपाही सोमबीर, सिपाही कृष्ण, धर्मेन्द्र व विनोद अन्तर्राज्जीय गंैगेस्टर रामकरण निवासी बैयापुर विदेश भागने की फिराक में पश्चिम विहार दिल्ली स्थित होटल के नजदीक छुपने की फिराक में घुम रहा है। सूचना पर पुलिस टीम द्वारा कार्यवाही करते हुये उसको धर दबोचा।

सीआईए-2 स्टाफ सोनीपत प्रभारी निरीक्षक अनिल कुमार ने गिरफ्तार आरोपी से प्रारम्भिक पूछताछ करने पर अपने किये अपराध की स्वीकारोक्ति करते हुये बताया था कि रामकरण बैंयापुर के इशारे पर व पैसों के लेन-देन को लेकर गोली मारने की घटना को अन्जाम दिया था। गिरफ्तार आरोपी को न्यायालय मे पेशकर न्यायालय के आदेशानुसार न्यायिक हिरासत जेल भेज दिया गया था।

18 मार्च को उपनिरीक्षक मुकेश कुमार कोर्ट काॅम्पलैक्स पुलिस चैकी सोनीपत को सूचना मिली थी कि कोर्ट परिसर सोनीपत में गोली चली है। अजय उर्फ बीटू निवासी बरोणा को रोहतक से न्यायालय में पेश करने के लिए लाये थे। सिपाही महेश ने आरोपी अजय उर्फ बीटू को गाड़ी के अन्दर 3/4 गोलिया सिर व अन्य शरीर पर मार दी है। आरोपी महेश कुमार को घटना में प्रयुक्त अवैध हथियार सहित गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था।
अन्तर्राज्जीय गैंगेस्टर रामकरण बैयापुर का अपराधिक रिकार्ड एक नजर में
वर्ष 2016 में थाना सदर सोनीपत में दर्ज लडाई-झगडे़ एवं जान से मारने की धमकी देने की घटना से आरंभ होता है यह अपराध का सफर में 2011 में हत्या प्रयास, इसके अपहरण एंव हत्या, अवैध हथियार रखने, लूट व गिरोह बन्दी, शरब पीकर हुडदंग करने, पुलिस हिरासत से भगाने के षडयंत्र में,सोनीपत, गोहाना खरखौदा में हत्या की घटनाओं में संलिप्त रहा है। गिरफ्तार आरोपी को न्यायालय में पेशकर पांच दिन के पुलिस रिमांड पर लिया गया है।
