हरियाणा: गुरमीत राम रहीम को हरियाणा सरकार ने दी Z+ सुरक्षा, फरलो पर जेल से बाहर आया डेरा प्रमुख; बताया खालिस्तानियों से है खतरा
अगस्त 2017 में दोषी ठहराए जाने के बाद से वह जेल में है और यह उसकी पहली लंबी अवधि की जमानत है। इससे पहले उन्हें अपनी बीमार मां से मिलने के लिए सूर्योदय से सूर्यास्त तक एक दिन की पैरोल दी गई थी और वह इलाज के लिए जेल से बाहर हैं।
नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: डेरा सच्चा सौदा प्रमुख गुरमीत राम रहीम को खालिस्तान समर्थक कार्यकर्ताओं से उनकी जान को खतरा होने की खबरों के बीच हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा जेड प्लस सुरक्षा प्रदान की गई है। सूत्रों के अनुसार, अतिरिक्त निदेशक ने रोहतक जेल आयुक्त को एक पत्र लिखा था जिसमें कहा गया था कि विश्वसनीय इनपुट हैं जो आरोपी के लिए खतरा हैं। इसलिए उनकी सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है क्योंकि वह 21 दिन की छुट्टी पर जेल से बाहर हैं।
वर्तमान में रोहतक जिले की सुनारिया जेल में बंद राम रहीम को गुरुग्राम में अपने परिवार से मिलने के लिए 21 दिन की फरलो जमानत दी गई थी। वह 7-27 फरवरी तक जेल से बाहर है। राम रहीम 2017 में सिरसा में अपने ‘आश्रम’ में अपनी दो महिला शिष्यों से बलात्कार के दोषी पाए जाने के बाद 20 साल की जेल की सजा काट रहा है, जहां डेरा सच्चा सौदा मुख्यालय स्थित था।

राम रहीम को 2019 में तीन अन्य लोगों के साथ एक पत्रकार की हत्या के लिए भी दोषी ठहराया गया था। वह डेरा सच्चा सौदा के पूर्व प्रबंधक की हत्या सहित कई अन्य मामलों में भी आरोपी है, जिसने आश्रम में राम रहीम के यौन शोषण का खुलासा करते हुए एक गुमनाम पत्र प्रसारित किया था। पत्रकार की हत्या इसलिए की गई क्योंकि उसने उक्त पत्र प्रकाशित किया था।
