पंजाब: I&B मंत्रालय ने पंजाब पॉलिटिक्स टीवी के ऐप्स, वेबसाइट, सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स को किया ब्लॉक
बयान में कहा गया है कि यह भी देखा गया है कि मौजूदा चुनावों के दौरान नए ऐप और सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट को लॉन्च करने का समय आ गया है।
नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय ने सिख फॉर जस्टिस (एसएफजे) के साथ घनिष्ठ संबंध रखने वाले विदेशी-आधारित टेलीविजन चैनल “पंजाब पॉलिटिक्स टीवी” के ऐप्स, वेबसाइट और सोशल मीडिया खातों को अवरुद्ध करने का आदेश दिया है। एसएफजे एक ऐसा संगठन है जो गैरकानूनी गतिविधि (रोकथाम) अधिनियम, 1967 के तहत गैरकानूनी घोषित किया गया है।
I & B मंत्रालय, खुफिया इनपुट पर भरोसा करते हुए कि चैनल चल रहे राज्य विधानसभा चुनावों के दौरान सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था को बिगाड़ने के लिए ऑनलाइन मीडिया का उपयोग करने का प्रयास कर रहा था, ने 18 फरवरी को आईटी नियमों के तहत आपातकालीन शक्तियों का इस्तेमाल “पंजाब राजनीति” के डिजिटल मीडिया संसाधनों को अवरुद्ध करने के लिए किया। टीवी ”, मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा।
बयान के अनुसार, ब्लॉक किए गए ऐप्स, वेबसाइट और सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट्स की सामग्री में सांप्रदायिक वैमनस्य और अलगाववाद को भड़काने की क्षमता थी। साथ ही सामग्री को भारत की संप्रभुता और अखंडता, राज्य की सुरक्षा और सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था के लिए हानिकारक पाया गया।
बयान में कहा गया है कि यह भी देखा गया है कि मौजूदा चुनावों के दौरान नए ऐप और सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट को लॉन्च करने का समय आ गया है।
मंत्रालय ने बयान में कहा कि भारत सरकार भारत में समग्र सूचना वातावरण को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए सतर्क और प्रतिबद्ध है और भारत की संप्रभुता और अखंडता को कमजोर करने की क्षमता वाले किसी भी कार्य को विफल करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
