नई दिल्ली: शहर में प्रदूषण की गंभीर स्थिति को देखते हुए दिल्ली में पटाखों के भंडारण, बिक्री और उपयोग पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने की है।
सीएम ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा, “पिछले 3 साल से दीवाली के समय दिल्ली के प्रदूषण की खतरनाक स्तिथि को देखते हुए पिछले साल की तरह इस बार भी हर प्रकार के पटाखों के भंडारण, बिक्री एवं उपयोग पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाया जा रहा है। जिससे लोगों की जिंदगी बचाई जा सके।
पिछले 3 साल से दीवाली के समय दिल्ली के प्रदूषण की खतरनाक स्तिथि को देखते हुए पिछले साल की तरह इस बार भी हर प्रकार के पटाखों के भंडारण, बिक्री एवं उपयोग पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाया जा रहा है। जिससे लोगों की जिंदगी बचाई जा सके।

इस साल की शुरुआत में, जुलाई में, सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली-एनसीआर क्षेत्र में पटाखों के उपयोग पर नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल (एनजीटी) के आदेश को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका को खारिज कर दिया था। NGT के आदेश ने खराब वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक (AQI) सूचकांक वाले NCR और भारत के अन्य शहरों में COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान सभी पटाखों की बिक्री और उपयोग पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था।
पिछले साल भी, राजधानी में पटाखों पर आधिकारिक प्रतिबंध था, लेकिन मुख्य कारण के रूप में COVID का हवाला दिया गया था। 5 नवंबर, 2020 को, मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने COVID-19 स्थिति की समीक्षा के बाद राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में पटाखों के उपयोग पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की घोषणा की। दिल्ली के सीएम ने कहा, “त्योहारों के मौसम और प्रदूषण के कारण कोरोनावायरस के मामले बढ़ गए हैं। दिल्ली में पटाखों पर प्रतिबंध लगाने और अन्य उपायों के साथ चिकित्सा बुनियादी ढांचे को बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया गया।” उन्होंने तब यह भी कहा था, “हम एक साथ दिवाली मनाएंगे और किसी भी हालत में पटाखे नहीं फोड़ेंगे। एक अद्भुत माहौल और अच्छा माहौल होगा क्योंकि दो करोड़ लोग लक्ष्मी पूजन करेंगे। इससे हर घर में खुशहाली आएगी।
