मन का एक विक पोईन्ट यह है कि आप जो रोज-रोज देखते हो, बोलते हो, सुनते हो, खाते हो, पीते हो बस यही दृष्य मन बार बार देख व सुन लेता है वही आचरण करने लग जाता है। आपको किस समूह में विचरण (सहवास) करना है, यह आपको ध्यान पूर्वक तय करना पड़ेगा। कारण जो बार-बार दिखाई व सुनाई देगा वही मन पकड़ लेगा। बस यही मन की सबसे बड़ी कमजोरी होती है। यही मन का विक पोईन्ट होता है। आपकी बैठक संस्कारी व ज्ञानी लोगों के साथ रहेगी तो उनके द्वारा मिले संस्कारों व ज्ञान को आपका मन सहज अपना लेगा इसमें तिल मात्र शंका रखने की जरुरत नहीं है जी। जैसी सभा वैसी वाणी, जैसी संगत वैसी रंगत (अक्कल), जैसा अन्न वैसा मन, यह मुहावरे मेरे नही है, प्रबुद्ध विद्वान और धर्माचार्यों ने कहे हुए है जी।
इसलिए संगत सोच समझकर करनी चाहिए, संगत अच्छे ज्ञानी लोगों की करे, ताकि आपका जीवन सुखमय की राह पर चल सके। कहते है कोमल अवस्था में हर नव युवा (किशोर अवस्था में) की सिखने की पकड़ तीव्र होती है। अपने माता-पिता, परिवार के सभी बुजुर्ग सदस्यों से, गुरुजनों से बहुत कुछ सिख लेते है, फिर आप आगे एक चौराह पर जा पहुंचते है। तब यह माँ, बाप, परिवार के लोग सब पीछे छुट जाते है। तब किशोर अवस्था पार कर आप युवा अवस्था में पहुंच जाते है। तब वह अपने सह पाठियों (मित्र समूह से) के सम्पर्क में आते है, तभी क्या गलत है, क्या सही है का बौध सिखने का विशेष समय कहलाता है। तभी ध्यान रखकर अच्छे मित्रों के सहवास में उठना बैठना रखना चाहिए। यही पर से जीवन की परीक्षा की घड़ी शुरु होती है। विशेष ध्यान देने का समय शुरु होता है। अब इस चौराहे से चार रस्ते अलग-अलग दिशाओं में जाते है, आपको सही रास्ते का चुनाव करना होगा, तभी आप अपनी मन पसंद मझील (प्रगति की राह) पा सकोंगे वरना गलत रास्ता आपके जीवन को अंधेरे में धकेल सकता है। इस समय अच्छी संगत का विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए।
वैसे ज्ञान सिखने की कोई आयु नहीं होती है। जीवन भर आप सिखो उतना कम है। ज्ञान किसी भी आयु में सिखते रहना चाहिए, तभी तो लोग साठ वर्ष की आयु में भी कहते रहते है, मै अभी भी विधार्थी हूं , अभी भी ज्ञानीयों से ज्ञान सिख रहा हूं। पूर्ण ज्ञानी कभी भी कोई नहीं बन पाता है। इतना अथाग ज्ञान है इस धरा पर, वेद शास्त्र, उपनिषदें व अनेक ज्ञान शास्त्र भरे पड़े है सिखो उतना कम है। ज्ञान की सिमा कोई अंतिम सीमा नहीं होती है। बस संगत का फल आपको जरुर मिलता है। इसीलिए संगत अच्छे ज्ञानी लोगों की ही करनी चाहिए। जहा कुसंगति का असर दिखे वहां एक पल भी नहीं ठहरना है, ऐसी जगह तुरन्त छोड़कर दूर चले जाना चाहिए।
संगत से ही हमारे जीवन का मूल्य निर्धारित होता है। आपका व्यवहार ही सब कुछ बता देता है। समाज सब देख रहा होता है, वह समाज आपके जीवन का मुल्यांकन यही से करता है। यह 100 % सत्य कथन है।

अगर लोहा लोहे का साथी बनकर रहे तो वह लोहा ही रह जाता है,
लेकिन वही लोहा पारस के सम्पर्क में आ जाता है तो उसकी किम्मत अनेक गुना अधिक हो जाती है !!
