पूर्व केबिनेट मंत्री कविता जैन ने शनिवार को सिविल अस्पताल के तत्वावधान में बहालगढ़ चौक स्थित श्री गुरूधाम आश्रम बालाजी मंंदिर में नि:शुल्क कोविड टीकाकरण अभियान का शुभारंभ किया। उन्होंने कहा कि अनिवार्य रूप से वैक्सीन लगवायें, ताकि कोरोना महामारी के फैलाव को रोका जा सके। कोरोना वायरस को जड़ से खत्म करने के लिए वैक्सीन लगवाना अति आवश्यक है।

पूर्व शहरी स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि सरकार नि:शुल्क रूप से वैक्सीन लगवा रही है। सोनीपत जिला में 51 हजार से अधिक नागरिकों को वैक्सीन लगाई जा चुकी है। इनमें हैल्थ वर्करों तथा फ्रंटलाइन वर्करों के अलावा 60 व 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग के महिला-पुरुष विशेष रूप से शामिल हैं। साथ ही गंभीर रोगों से पीड़ित 45 वर्ष आयु वर्ग से अधिक आयु के नागरिकों को भी वैक्सीन लगाई जा रही है। इन आयु वर्ग के महिला- पुरुषों को जल्द से जल्द वैक्सीन लगवानी चाहिए।

पूर्व मंत्री ने कहा कि सोनीपत में 70 से अधिक स्थानों पर वैक्सीन लगाई जा रही है, जिनमें सरकारी व निजी अस्पताल भी शामिल हैं। सिविल अस्पताल तथा पीएचसी और सीएचसी में वैक्सीन नियमित रूप से लगाई जा रही है। सोमवार को मेगा ड्राइव के रूप में वैक्सिनेशन की जाएगी, जिसमें लोगों को बढ़-चढक़र हिस्सा लेना चाहिए। पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि वैक्सीन पर भरोसा करने की जरूरत है, क्योंकि इन्हें वैज्ञानिक विशलेषण के बाद मंजूरी मिली है। खुद की और अपने परिवार की सुरक्षा के लिए वैक्सीन जरूरी है। कोविड वैक्सिनेशन की नोडल अधिकारी डा. नीरज यादव के नेतृत्व में श्री गुरुधाम आश्रम में कोविड-19 कोरोना वायरस से संरक्षण के लिए टीकाकरण किया गया। सीता राम, सतीश, कृष्णा, राज भल्ला, संतोष लाजपत, प्रवीण, आशा आदि का विशेष सहयोग रहा।
