बाल ग्राम राई में जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद के तत्वावधान में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाल दिवस के मौके पर सार्वभौमिक बाल दिवस समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि उपायुक्त पूनिया बोल रहे थे । उन्होंने कहा कि निष्पक्षता के साथ बच्चों का सामाजिक, मानसिक विकास किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि बच्चे किसी भी क्षेत्र में आगे बढऩे के काबिल बन सकें। यह जिम्मेदारी सबको उठानी होगी। ऐसे में किसी भी बच्चे को अभाव में नहीं जीना पड़ेगा।
जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी सुरेखा हुड्डा, महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग की कार्यक्रम अधिकारी शांति जून, जिला बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी डा. रितु गिल, बाल संरक्षण अधिकारी (संस्थानिक) ममता शर्मा आदि अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी मौजूद थे। मेहंदी रचाओ स्पर्धा में अश्विनी व सोनावती ने संयुक्त रूप से प्रथम व सोनू ने द्वितीय तथा मंजू ने तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। रेसिपी स्पर्धा में दिव्या भारती ने प्रथम व देवकी ने द्वितीय तथा रितु ने तृतीय, लडक़ों की मेहंदी रचाओ स्पर्धा में राजेश ने प्रथम व बादल ने द्वितीय तथा जसप्रीत व मोहित ने संयुक्त रूप से तृतीय तथा रेसिपी स्पर्धा में प्रदीप ने प्रथम व आलोक ने द्वितीय तथा रेहान व सचिन ने संयुक्त रूप से तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। राखी कंपीटिशन के 14 वर्ष से कम आयुवर्ग में मोहित ने प्रथम, आलोक ने द्वितीय तथा रेहान ने तृतीय तथाा 14 वर्ष से अधिक आयुवर्ग में बादल ने प्रथम ने व राजेश ने द्वितीय और सचिन ने तृतीय स्थान हासिल किया। पेंटिंग स्पर्धा के 6 से 10 आयुवर्ग में तनिष्क प्रथम व मोहित द्वितीय तथा रेहान तृतीय तथा 11 से 15 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में बादल प्रथम व संजू द्वितीय तथा मयंक तृतीय और 16 से 18 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में धु्रव प्रथम व ज्योति द्वितीय तथा जसप्रीत ने तृतीय स्थान अर्जित किया। निबंध लेखन में 6 से 10 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में सागर ने प्रथम, संजू ने द्वितीय तथ आलोक ने तृतीय और 16 से 18 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में पूजा ने प्रथम व हर्ष द्वितीय तथा प्रदीप ने तृतीय व अक्षय को सांत्वना पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। कविता लेखन के 11 से 15 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में आदित्य प्रथम व मयंक द्वितीय तथा मनीष तृतीय और 16 से 18 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में कृष्णा ने प्रथम व साहिल ने द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। नारा लेखन के 6 से 10 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में तनिष्क विजेता बना तथा 11 से 15 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में सचिन ने प्रथम व मयंक ने द्वितीय तथा संंजू ने तृतीय और 16 से 18 वर्ष आयुवर्ग में सागर प्रथम व राजेश द्वितीय तथा अरविंद तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। बच्चों के द्वारा बनाई गई पेंटिंग, नारा लेखन रचनाएं तथा दीये और अन्य प्रकार की रचनाओं को प्रदर्शित किया गया। साथ ही उपायुक्त ने सभी बच्चों को मिठाई बांटी उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
