एसएस न्यूज.सोनीपत। उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने भठगांव में प्रदेश के 10वें ऑक्सिजन बाग का शुभारंभ किया और कहा कि ऑक्सिजन बाग स्थापित करें । सबको आहुति डालनी चाहिए। पर्यावरण संरक्षण को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और प्रदूषण पर लगाम लगेगी।

ट्री-मैन देवेंद्र सूरा के अथक प्रयासों से उनके पर्यावरण मित्र प्रदेश का 10वां जबकि सोनीपत जिले का नौवां ऑक्सिजन बाग स्थापित कर रही है। इसके लिए भठगांव का चयन किया गया है, जहां 10 एकड़ भूमि में दादा कराऊ के नाम पर ऑक्सिजन बाग को विकसित किया जा रहा है। पहले ही दिन बाग में 5600 पौधे लगाये गये।

भठगांव में दादा कराऊ की पावन भूमि पर दस एकड़ में तैयार होने वाले आक्सीजन बाग में विभिन्न प्रजाति के पौधे तैयार करने का लक्ष्य पर्यावरण मित्रों द्वारा रखा गया हैं। इस बाग में बड़, पीपल, नीम, गुलर, हरड़, आवला, ढहाक, मोलसरी, कचनार, जामुन, पिलखन, अर्जुन, चम्पां, जाटी, देसी कीकर, रूद्रांक्ष, आम, इमली, सम्भल, सहसुत, बेरी, बेल पत्थर, कुसुम, बालम खिरा, दाल मोठ, लसोढा, सिसम, जकरंडा सहित अन्य औषधी, फलदार, छायादार प्रजाति के पौधे रोपित किए जायेगें। उक्त बाग के लिए ग्रामीणों की ओर से हर सभंव मदद की जा रही हैं। उक्त बाग में लुप्त होती पौधों की प्रजाति पर विशेष ध्यान देकर पौधे रोपित किए जायेगें। जिले में सबसे ज्यादा पीपल के पेड़ बिधल गांव में हैं।
