नई दिल्ली: अखिल भारतीय वरिष्ठ चयन समिति के चयनकर्ताओं के अध्यक्ष चेतन शर्मा ने सोमवार को न्यूजीलैंड और बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ भारत की आगामी श्रृंखला के लिए टीम की घोषणा की। यह सीरीज उन खिलाड़ियों के लिए अहम होगी जो अगले साल होने वाले विश्व कप के लिए भारत की वनडे टीम में मौका तलाश रहे हैं। विराट कोहली, हार्दिक पांड्या और रोहित शर्मा जैसे वरिष्ठ भारतीय खिलाड़ी, जो भारत के टी 20 विश्व कप टीम का हिस्सा हैं, को भारत के न्यूजीलैंड दौरे के लिए आराम दिया गया है, जो 18 नवंबर को टी 20 विश्व कप फाइनल के ठीक पांच दिन बाद शुरू होगा। रोहित की अनुपस्थिति में , सीनियर भारतीय सलामी बल्लेबाज शिखर धवन को IND बनाम NZ ODI श्रृंखला के लिए कप्तान के रूप में नामित किया गया है, जबकि ऋषभ पंत को धवन के डिप्टी की भूमिका निभाने के लिए कहा गया है। T20I में हार्दिक पांड्या पंत के साथ उप-कप्तान के रूप में टीम का नेतृत्व करेंगे।

ऑलराउंडर रवींद्र जडेजा दिसंबर में एक्शन में लौटेंगे जब भारत एकदिवसीय और टेस्ट श्रृंखला में बांग्लादेश से भिड़ेगा। अनुभवी ने एशिया कप 2022 के बाद से राष्ट्रीय टीम के लिए एक भी मैच नहीं खेला है, जहां उन्हें घुटने में चोट लगी थी। स्टार खिलाड़ी विराट और रोहित न्यूजीलैंड सीरीज से बाहर होने के बाद भारत के बांग्लादेश दौरे के लिए टीम में वापसी करेंगे।
