नई दिल्ली: एमजंक्शन सर्विसेज द्वारा संकलित आंकड़ों के अनुसार, देश का कोयला आयात एक साल पहले इसी महीने अक्टूबर में 26.8 प्रतिशत घटकर 15.75 मिलियन टन रहा। आंकड़ों के अनुसार, “अक्टूबर 2021 में प्रमुख और गैर-प्रमुख बंदरगाहों के माध्यम से भारत के कोयले और कोक के आयात में अक्टूबर 2020 की तुलना में 26.8 प्रतिशत की कमी होने का अनुमान है।

इससे पहले अक्टूबर 2020 में भारत ने 21.50 मिलियन टन कोयले का आयात किया था। कोकिंग कोल का आयात 4.05 मिलियन टन था, जो अक्टूबर 2020 में आयात किए गए 4.92 मिलियन टन से कम है। चालू वित्त वर्ष की अप्रैल-अक्टूबर अवधि के दौरान कुल कोयले का आयात 123.09 मिलियन टन रहा – एक साल पहले की अवधि में 116.81 मिलियन टन से लगभग 5.4 प्रतिशत अधिक। अप्रैल-अक्टूबर की अवधि के दौरान गैर-कोकिंग कोयले का आयात 79.54 मिलियन टन था, जो अप्रैल-अक्टूबर की अवधि के दौरान 77.67 से थोड़ा अधिक था, जो पिछले वित्त वर्ष के अप्रैल-अक्टूबर के दौरान आयात किया गया था। एक साल पहले की अवधि के दौरान आयातित 23.89 मिलियन टन के मुकाबले कोकिंग कोल का आयात 30.51 मिलियन टन था।
