गन्नौर: जीटी रोड स्थित प्रयास इंटरनेशनल स्कूल में क्रिसमस कार्निवल कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यकम्र में विधायक निर्मल चौधरी मुख्यातिथि के रूप में शरीक हुई, जबकि समाजसेवी अरूण त्यागी विशिष्टातिथि उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर बॉलीवुड से पहुंचे प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता गुलशन ग्रोवर व गायक फतेहजीत सिंह आकर्षण का केंद्र रहे। अतिथियों का स्कूल निदेशक डा. संजय जैन, अमित बत्रा, डा. सुनीरा जैन व रूचिका बत्रा ने बुके भेंट कर स्वागत किया।

कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे अभिभावकों ने छात्रों द्वारा लगाई गई प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया। अभिभावकों के साथ-साथ बच्चों ने भी स्टालों पर खरीदारी करने के साथ ही विभिन्न खेलों में भी भाग लिया। विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने बच्चों को मन लगा कर शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस अवसर पर रंगारंग कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुए। गायक फतेहजीत सिंह ने अपनी गानों की प्रस्तुतियां देकर समां बांधा। प्राचार्या निधि नेहरा व रजिस्ट्रार डा. मनोज कुमार सहित स्टाफ ने कार्यक्रम संचालन में अपना सहयोग दिया।
शिक्षा बिना किसी क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ना संभव नहीं: गुलशन ग्रोवर
कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे फिल्म अभिनेता गुलशन ग्रोवर ने कहा कि शिक्षा के बिना किसी भी क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ना संभव नहीं है। पढ़ाई की बदौलत वह अभिनय के क्षेत्र में उन्नति कर पाए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि वह पढ़ाई-लिखाई में काफी अच्छे थे। उन्होंने दिल्ली के श्रीराम कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्स से ग्रेजुएशन किया है। उसके बाद पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन भी की। अभिनय में रूचि थी तो कॉलेज के दिनों में वह थिएटर और नाटकों में हिस्सा लिया करते थे।
इसके बाद उन्होंने फिल्म टेलिविजन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया पुणे से एक्टिंग का कोर्स किया, जिसके बाद उन्हें फिल्मों में काम करने का मौका मिला। पढ़ाई की बदौलत में उनमें आत्मविश्वास था, जिस वजह से उन्हें सबसे पहले हॉलिवुड में काम करने का मौका मिला। इसके बाद उन्होंने विभिन्न देशों में शूटिंग की। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से आह्वान किया कि वे भी मन लगा कर पढ़ाई करें, शिक्षित होने पर ही उनका भविष्य संवर सकता है।
