फरीदाबाद क्राइम ब्रांच सैक्टर 30 द्वारा फरीदाबाद के नीलम बाटा रोड स्थित होटल में कसीनो पकड़ा गया है। एसीपी धरना यादव ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि इंस्पेक्टर विमल कुमार को सुचना मिली थी कि एनआईटी में एक होटल में कसीनो जुआ चल रहा है। उच्च अधिकारियो के दिशा-निर्देश अनुसार क्राइम ब्रांच की टीम ने सोमवार की रात को छापे मारी कर कसीनो खेल रहे 12 लोगो को गिरफ्तार किया है जिनमे दो लड़कियां भी शामिल है गिरफ्तार 12 आरोपी नितिन, निवासी ओल्ड फरीदाबाद, अंकित, निवासी सेक्टर 28, अनिल, निवासी एनआईटी, हरनेक, निवासी एनआईटी, अनुराग, निवासी एसजीएम नगर, फिरोज, निवासी नेकपुर, संदीप, निवासी गगन विहार दिल्ली, अमित निवासी ओल्ड फरीदाबाद, जतिन निवासी एनआईटी फरीदाबाद, निकेत निवासी एनआईटी फरीदाबाद, योजना,निवासी मालवीय नगर दिल्ली, संगम निवासी मालवीय नगर दिल्ली हैं जिनमे दोनो महिलाओं समेत 3 आरोपी दिल्ली और बाकी के 9 आरोपी फरीदाबाद के अलग अलग स्थानों के रहने वाले हैं।
पूछताछ में मुख्य आरोपी निकेत आजाद ने बताया की वह होटल किराये पर लेकर कसीनो खिलाता है और किराये पर लाई गई लड़कियों के द्वारा, खेलने वाले फन्टरो (खिलाड़ी) को खेल शुरू होने से पहले ही बोली के हिसाब से चिप(टोकन) बिकवा देता है, जिनकी कीमत 100 रूपये से 2000 रूपये तक होती है। रात को खेलते समय सभी खिलाड़ी अपने टोकन को लेकर गेम खेलते है। टोकन हार जाने या जीत जाने पर अगले दिन में ही उनका हिसाब कर देता है।

हर बार अलग अलग फ़ार्म हाउस, होटल का कमरा इत्यादि बुक करवाया जाता था ताकि पुलिस को इस काम की भनक ना लगे। इसके लिए हर रोज रात को अलग अलग जगह का चुनाव किया जाता था जिसकी लोकेशन खिलाडियों के पास व्हाट्स एप ग्रुप पर भेज दी जाती थी। आरोपियों के खिलाफ पुलिस ने कार्यवाही करते हुए उनके खिलाफ थाना कोतवाली में जुआ अधिनियम के तहत के मुकदमा दर्ज कानूनी कार्रवाई की गई।
