पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने आज भगवान् बाल्मीकि जयंती के मौक़े पर गोहाना स्थित मंदिर में पहुंचकर श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए और कहा कि भगवान् बाल्मीकि के बताए रास्ते और सिद्धांतों पर चलें। उन्होंने कहा कि भविष्य में हमारी सरकार बनते ही फिर से उन कल्याणकारी योजनाओं को शुरू किया जाएगा और पूरे समाज से दिशा-निर्देश लेकर दलित और ग़रीब तबके को हर क्षेत्र में ज्यादा से ज्यादा प्रतिनिधित्व देने का रास्ता बनाया जाएगा।

इसके बाद भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने सूर्या गार्डन में पत्रकार वार्ता में हुड्डा ने कहा कि उन्हें बरोदा हलके और पूरे हरियाणा की चिंता है, लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री, उपमुख्यमंत्री और बाकी सब विरोधियों को सिर्फ भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा की चिंता सता रही है। चुनाव प्रचार करने आ रहे मुख्यमंत्री और उनके मंत्रियों के पास न गिनवाने के लिए कोई काम है और न ही बताने के लिए कोई योजना। सत्ताधारी नेता सिर्फ व्यक्तिगत टिप्पणी करके हवा-हवाई बातों से लोगों के वोट लेने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। लेकिन बरोदा की जनता इनकी सच्चाई समझ चुकी है और बीजेपी-जेजेपी को भारी मतों से मात देने का मन बना चुकी है।

नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने गोहाना में बार एसोसिएशन के कार्यक्रम में शिरकत की। यहां वकीलों को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कांग्रेस शासनकाल के दौरान बरोदा में हुए कामों का लेखा-जोखा सांझा किया। उन्होंने बताया कि उनके शासनकाल में अकेले बरोदा हलके में एक 133 केवी और दर्जनभर 33 केवी के पावर हाउस बनवाए, 10 जलघर, 20 ट्यूबवेल, लगभग हर गांव में बूस्टर पंप, 20 गांवों में स्टेडियम बनवाए। 7 सीएचसी और पीएचसी बनवाई। गोहाना में एक महिला विश्वविद्यालय, 500 बेड का महिला मेडिकल कॉलेज और 50 बेड का अस्पताल बनवाया। गोहाना और बुटाना में ITI की बिल्डिंग बनवाई। कथूरा और मुंडलाना में वीईआई और बुटाना में जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय बनवाया गया। ऐसे सैंकड़ों काम हैं। लेकिन बीजेपी के पास बिजली, पानी, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा या कल्याण का एक भी काम ऐसा नहीं है, जो धरातल पर मौजूद हो।
