नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: तुर्की एयरलाइंस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष इलकर आयसी को एयर इंडिया के नए मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) और प्रबंध निदेशक (एमडी) के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है, सोमवार को टाटा संस की घोषणा की।
टाटा संस ने एक बयान में कहा कि इल्कर आयसी 1 अप्रैल, 2022 को या उससे पहले अपनी जिम्मेदारी संभालेंगे।

केंद्र सरकार ने इस साल जनवरी में आधिकारिक तौर पर एयर इंडिया को टाटा समूह को सौंप दिया था, क्योंकि केंद्र ने एयर इंडिया में प्रबंधन नियंत्रण के साथ टाटा की पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली सहायक कंपनी टैलेस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड को 100 प्रतिशत शेयर हस्तांतरित कर दिए थे।
टाटा ने स्पाइसजेट के प्रमोटर अजय सिंह के नेतृत्व वाले कंसोर्टियम द्वारा 15,100 करोड़ रुपये की पेशकश और घाटे में चल रही वाहक में अपनी 100 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी की बिक्री के लिए सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित 12,906 करोड़ रुपये के आरक्षित मूल्य को पीछे छोड़ दिया।
