युद्धग्रस्त अफगानिस्तान में तेजी से बदलते हालात को देखते हुए विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने गुरुवार को विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के संसदीय नेताओं को तालिबान के कब्जे वाले देश के घटनाक्रम से अवगत कराया।
नई दिल्ली: युद्धग्रस्त अफगानिस्तान में तेजी से बदलते हालात को देखते हुए विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने गुरुवार को विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के संसदीय नेताओं को तालिबान के कब्जे वाले देश के घटनाक्रम से अवगत कराया। बैठक साढ़े तीन घंटे तक चली और इसमें 31 दलों के 37 नेताओं की उपस्थिति देखी गई।

केंद्रीय मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने कहा ने आगे संवाददाताओं से कहा कि वर्तमान में सरकार का मुख्य ध्यान सभी भारतीय नागरिकों को निकालने पर है। “हमारा ध्यान निकासी पर है और सरकार लोगों को निकालने के लिए सब कुछ कर रही है। ऑपरेशन ‘देवी शक्ति’ के तहत हमने 6 निकासी उड़ानें की हैं। हम अधिकांश भारतीयों को वापस लाए हैं, लेकिन उनमें से कुछ नहीं कर सके।” मैं कल उड़ान के लिए नहीं आया। हम निश्चित रूप से कोशिश करेंगे और सभी को बाहर निकालेंगे। हमने कुछ अफगान नागरिकों को भी बाहर निकाला है।
