नई दिल्ली: भाला फेंक खिलाड़ी नीरज चोपड़ा, ट्रैक और फील्ड में भारत के पहले स्वर्ण पदक विजेता, पीवी सिंधु, मीराबाई चानू सहित टोक्यो ओलंपिक विजेता, भारतीय खेल प्राधिकरण (SAI) के दो अधिकारी लाल किले में 75 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में भाग ले रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रविवार को नई दिल्ली में लाल किले की प्राचीर से राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया और राष्ट्र को पारंपरिक संबोधन दिया।
राष्ट्रीय ध्वजारोहण समारोह से पहले, नीरज चोपड़ा ने कहा कि यह उनके लिए एक नया अनुभव है क्योंकि वह टीवी पर समारोह देखते थे, और अब वह व्यक्तिगत रूप से इसमें शामिल हो रहे हैं। “पहले हम टीवी पर झंडारोहण समारोह देखते थे और अब हम व्यक्तिगत रूप से वहां जा रहे हैं। यह एक नया अनुभव है। हमने इतने लंबे समय तक व्यक्तिगत खेलों में स्वर्ण पदक नहीं जीता था। मुझे अच्छा लगा कि देश को गर्व महसूस हुआ।
