इसके अलावा, विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के ब्राह्मण भी बड़ी संख्या में अखिलेश यादव के नेतृत्व वाली पार्टी में शामिल हुए। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री पर तीखा हमला करते हुए समाजवादी पार्टी सुप्रीमो ने कहा कि आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव में जनता भाजपा को सबक सिखाएगी। पिछले साढ़े चार साल में भेदभाव के साथ काम किया गया है। जिस तरह अंग्रेजों ने ‘फूट डालो और राज करो’ का अभ्यास किया, उसी तरह भाजपा लोगों को डराकर और उन्हें मारकर शासन करना चाहती है।
यादव ने कहा कि लखीमपुर में तीन अक्टूबर को हुई हिंसा को कोई नहीं भूल सकता, जिसमें चार किसानों समेत आठ लोगों की जान चली गई थी। यादव ने भाजपा सरकार पर कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान कुप्रबंधन का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि अस्पतालों में ऑक्सीजन की कमी, नदियों में तैरते शव और अन्य अनियमितताओं को कोई नहीं भूल सकता। यादव ने कहा, “लोगों को नोटबंदी के दौरान कतारों में खड़ा किया गया, महामारी के दौरान दवाएं और अस्पताल के बिस्तर पाने के लिए और किसानों को उर्वरक लेने के लिए कतार में खड़ा किया गया।
