योगा फोर वैलनेस-थीम आधारित 7वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस हरियाणा योग आयोग व आयुष विभाग के तत्वावधान में सेक्टर-14 स्थित हुडा पार्क में मुख्य अतिथि राई हलका विधायक एवं भाजपा के प्रदेश महामंत्री मोहनलाल बड़ौली ने दीप प्रज्वलित करके किया। सोनीपत, गन्नौर, गोहाना, खरखौदा, राई के विभिन्न 50 स्थानों पर प्रधानमंत्री के संदेश का सीधा प्रसारण किया गया।

विधायक मोहनलाल बड़ौली ने कहा कि योग हमारी संस्कृति व सभ्यता का अटूट अंग है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के प्रयासों से दुनियाभर में योग को अपनाया जा रहा है। योग के सहारे हम पुन: विश्वगुरू बनेंगे। योग जीवन को सरल बनाता है। योग जन-जन तक पहुंचे ताकि सभी योग करें। योग से मानसिक व शारीरिक बल मिलता है। इम्यूनिटी को मजबूत बनाता है। आयुष विभाग के चिकित्सकों ने विधायक व उपायुक्त को तुलसी के पौधे भेंट किये। अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त अशोक बंसल, नगराधीश जितेंद्र जोशी, नगर निगम के संयुक्त आयुक्त सुभाषचंद्र आदि शामिल रहे।
योग प्रशिक्षक सरीता बाल्याण ने योगासन व योग क्रियाएं करवाई, जिसमें पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन व मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने शिरकत की। पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि मन की एकाग्रता के लिए योग जरूरी है। एकाग्रता से जीवन में सफलता मिलती है। पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने योग को जीवन जीने की कला की संज्ञा दी।
गन्नौर के लहरी सिंह पार्क में विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने कहा कि नियमित रूप से योगाभ्यास करें यह तन-मन को तंदुरूस्त रखता है। उपमंडल गोहाना में जींद रोड स्थित जवाहरलाल नेहरू पार्क में एसडीएम प्रदीप कुमार ने कहा कि निरोगी काया के लिए नियमित रूप से योगाभ्यास जरूरी है। खरखौदा उपमंडल में कन्या महाविद्यालय में एसडीएम डा. अनमोल ने कहा कि योग को अपने जीवन का अभिन्न अंग बनायें। चीनी मील सोनीपत के प्रबंधक निदेशक सुरेंद्र सिंह दून ने हिस्सा लिया योग किया।
