लखनऊ : योगी आदित्यनाथ कैबिनेट में पूर्व मंत्री दारा सिंह चौहान रविवार को समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव की मौजूदगी में शामिल हो गए। वह स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य और धर्म सिंह सैनी के बाद तीसरे मंत्री हैं जो भाजपा छोड़कर अखिलेश यादव के नेतृत्व वाली पार्टी में शामिल हुए हैं। 2017 में, भाजपा सरकार ने ‘सबका साथ, सबका विकास’ का नारा दिया। चौहान ने सपा में शामिल होने के बाद कहा, पार्टी ने सभी का समर्थन लिया लेकिन विकास का लाभ कुछ ही लोगों को मिला।
लखनऊ के मधुबन निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से भाजपा विधायक ने आगे दावा किया कि राज्य सरकार से न केवल पिछड़ा वर्ग और दलित नाखुश हैं, ब्राह्मण भी यहां की भाजपा सरकार से संतुष्ट नहीं हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “संविधान से छेड़छाड़ की कोशिश की जा रही है। सपा प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव ने कहा, “मैं दारा सिंह चौहान और उनके समर्थकों का स्वागत करता हूं जो बड़ी संख्या में साथ आए हैं।
इससे पहले 14 जनवरी को, उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व मंत्री स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य और धर्म सिंह सैनी, जिन्होंने इस सप्ताह योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार और विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा से इस्तीफा दे दिया था, समाजवादी पार्टी में शामिल हो गए हैं। पूर्व मंत्रियों के साथ मौजूदा विधायक भगवती सागर, विनय शाक्य, रोशन लाल वर्मा, मुकेश वर्मा और ब्रजेश कुमार प्रजापति भी सपा में शामिल हो गए हैं।
अपना दल विधायक चौधरी अमर सिंह, बसपा के पूर्व विधायक नीरज कुशवाहा मौर्य, भाजपा के पूर्व एमएलसी हरपाल सैनी, बसपा के पूर्व विधायक बलराम सैनी, भाजपा के पूर्व विधायक राजेंद्र प्रताप सिंह, पूर्व राज्य मंत्री विद्रोही मौर्य, पूर्व मुख्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी पदम सिंह और कांग्रेस के पूर्व विधायक बंसी सिंह पहाड़िया पार्टी में शामिल हुए।
इस्तीफे का सिलसिला स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य के कैबिनेट छोड़ने के साथ शुरू हुआ। ओबीसी समुदाय के एक प्रमुख नेता मौर्य बसपा से भाजपा में शामिल हुए थे। दारा सिंह चौहान ने बुधवार को मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। धर्म सिंह सैनी गुरुवार को तीसरे मंत्री बने।
समाजवादी पार्टी ने विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए छोटे दलों का गठबंधन किया है और राज्य में सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा की मुख्य प्रतिद्वंद्वी के रूप में उभरी है। इससे पहले भाजपा विधायक मुकेश वर्मा, विनय शाक्य, अवतार सिंह भड़ाना, रोशन लाल वर्मा, बृजेश प्रजापति और भगवती सागर ने पार्टी से इस्तीफा दे दिया था।
उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव सात चरणों में 10 फरवरी से 7 मार्च तक होंगे। उत्तर प्रदेश में मतदान 10 फरवरी, 14, 20, 23, 27 और 3 और 7 मार्च को होगा।
