नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव 2022 के महत्वपूर्ण परिणामों से पहले, चुनाव आयोग ने मंगलवार को समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव द्वारा इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीनों (ईवीएम) के गलत इस्तेमाल पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है। अखिलेश यादव ने सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा पर वोट चुराने की कोशिश करने का आरोप लगाया और दावा किया कि वाराणसी में ईवीएम ले जा रहे एक ट्रक को “अवरुद्ध” किया गया, जबकि दो अन्य भाग गए।

चुनाव आयोग का यह बयान वरिष्ठ सपा नेताओं नरेश उत्तम और राजेंद्र चौधरी, सुहेलदेव भारतीय समाज पार्टी के प्रमुख ओम प्रकाश राजभर और जनवादी पार्टी (समाजवादी) संजय चौहान के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल द्वारा चुनाव आयोग को एक ज्ञापन सौंपे जाने के बाद आया है, जिसमें “वाराणसी में ईवीएम की चोरी” का आरोप लगाया गया था। यूपी सीईओ कार्यालय ने स्पष्ट किया कि मतदान के लिए इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली सभी ईवीएम को स्ट्रांगरूम के अंदर सील कर दिया गया है और केंद्रीय अर्धसैनिक बलों के त्रिस्तरीय सुरक्षा घेरे में सुरक्षित कर दिया गया है।
बयान में कहा गया है कि ये मशीनें पूरी तरह से अलग और सुरक्षित हैं और पूरे दिन (24×7) सीसीटीवी द्वारा लगातार निगरानी की जाती हैं। ईवीएम की कथित चोरी पर भ्रम की स्थिति पर स्पष्टीकरण देते हुए, वाराणसी के डीएम ने कहा: “सभी उम्मीदवारों को बुलाया गया है, और वे (व्यवस्था) देख सकते हैं और खुद को संतुष्ट कर सकते हैं। पर्यवेक्षकों को भी बुलाया गया है और उनकी मौजूदगी में क्रॉस चेकिंग की जाएगी। उत्तर प्रदेश में सात चरणों में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव का सोमवार को समापन हो गया। मतों की गिनती 10 मार्च को होगी।
