सोनीपत: राष्ट्रीय एकता के लिए रन फॉर यूनिटी मैराथन में दौडे सैकड़ों
सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल का जन्मदिवस पर रविवार को राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस पर डीएसपी विपिन काद्यान ने सुभाष स्टेडियम से मैराथन को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। मैराथन में सैकड़ों क्षेत्रवासियों ने हिस्सा लिया।

सोनीपत: सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल का जन्मदिवस पर रविवार को राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस पर डीएसपी विपिन काद्यान ने सुभाष स्टेडियम से मैराथन को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। मैराथन में सैकड़ों क्षेत्रवासियों ने हिस्सा लिया।
डीएसपी विपिन ने कहा कि सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल देश के पहले गृहमंत्री बने देश की साढ़े पांच सौ से ज्यादा रियासतों का एकीकरण कर अखंड भारत का निर्माण किया। देश की एकता व अखंडता की शपथ लेनी होगी ताकि देश को बुलंदियों पर ले जाया जा सके।

जिला खेल एवं युवा कार्यक्रम अधिकारी प्रदीप पालीवाल ने सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। बच्चे, बुजुर्ग, महिलाएं रन फॉर यूनिटी सुभाष स्टेडियम से शुरू होकर छोटूराम चौंक, सैनिक रेस्ट हाउस के सामने से महलाना रोड़, महलाना चौंक से होते हुए सुभाष स्टेडियम में संपन्न हुई। डीएसपी ने सभी को राष्ट्रीय एकता की शपथ भी दिलवाई।
