विश्वविद्यालय के खेल निदेशक डा.बिरेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि डीसीआरयूएसटी,मुरथल की इंटर कॉलेज प्रतियोगिता का साउथ प्वाइंट के क्रिकेट ग्राउंड में किया गया। विश्वविद्यालय की तरफ से प्रतियोगिता के लिए आब्जर्वर डा.पंकज कुमार थे। फाइनल मैच गेटवे व आईआईटीएम के मध्य खेला गया।

सोनीपत: दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, मुरथल की इंटर कॉलेज प्रतियोगिता में गेटवे कॉलेज ने आईआईटीएम की टीम को पराजित कर विजेता बनी। जबकि आईआईटीएम, मुरथल की टीम उपविजेता बनी।
विश्वविद्यालय के खेल निदेशक डा.बिरेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि डीसीआरयूएसटी,मुरथल की इंटर कॉलेज प्रतियोगिता का साउथ प्वाइंट के क्रिकेट ग्राउंड में किया गया। विश्वविद्यालय की तरफ से प्रतियोगिता के लिए आब्जर्वर डा.पंकज कुमार थे। फाइनल मैच गेटवे व आईआईटीएम के मध्य खेला गया। आईआईटीएम की टीम ने पहले खेलते हुए निर्धारित 16 ओवर में 10 विकेट खोकर 101 रन बनाने का लक्ष्य गेटवे की टीम को दिया। आईआईटीएम की तरफ से सर्वाधिक 22 रन शिवम ने बनाए, जबकि तुषार ने 3 विकेट लिए। गेटवे कॉलेज की तरफ से निर्धारित लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए 15 ओवर में 8 विकेट खोकर 103 रन बनाए।
खेल निदेशक डा.हुड्डा ने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता का दूसरा मैच आईआईटीएम,मुरथल व एचसीई के मध्य खेला गया। आईआईटीएम की टीम ने निर्धारित 12 ओवर में 9 विकेट खोकर 104 रन बनाए। आईआईटीएम की तरफ से सर्वाधिक 39 रन अंशुल ने बनाए। जबकि एचसीई की टीम निर्धारित 10 ओवर में 40 रन पर ऑल आऊट हो गई।
उन्होंने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता का पहला मैच डीसीआरयूएसटी की कैंपस टीम व गेटवे की टीम के बीच खेला गया। डीसीआरयूएसटी की टीम ने पहले खेलते हुए निर्धारित 12 ओवर में 8 विकेट खोकर 94 रन बनाए। डीसीआरयूएसटी की तरफ से अभिषेक ने सर्वाधिक 29 रन बनाए। गेटवे की टीम ने निर्धारित रनों का लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए 10.1 ओवर में एक विकेट खोकर 95 रन बनाए।गेटवे की तरफ से गौरव ने सर्वाधिक 51 रन बनाए। विश्वविद्यालय की तरफ से प्रतियोगिता के लिए आब्जर्वर डा.पंकज कुमार थे। जबकि प्रतियोगिता में अंपायर डा. सुदीप कुमार, कपिल दहिया व आनंद अंतिल थे।
