सोनीपत: केरल में सोनीपत की पुजा त्यागी ने पावर लिफ्टिंग में स्वर्ण पदक जीता
2018 में धर्मशाला में नॉर्थ इंडिया चैंपियनशिप खेली और स्वर्ण पदक जीता। हाथ में एक और फ्रैक्चर था। वहीं मातृत्व सुख की प्राप्ति 2019 में बच्चे के जन्म के साथ हुई।

सोनीपत/नरेंद्र शर्मा परवाना: पूर्व जिला पार्षद सियानंद त्यागी की पुत्री पुजा त्यागी ने नेशनल सीनियर क्लासिक वोमेन पावरलिफ्टिंग उत्तर भारत चैंपियनशिप 2021-22 केरल में 9 से 13 अप्रैल 2022 को हुई प्रतियोगिता में बेंच प्रेस का स्वर्ण पदक जीता है। त्यागी समाज अपनी लाडली का सम्मान समारोह करेगा कि पुजा ने समाज का जिला और हरियाणा का नाम रोशन किया है।
पूजा त्यागी ने बताया कि खेल की शुरुआत 2016 में की थी इनके कोच नीरज आंतिल से प्रशिक्षण लिया है। मेटल हेल्थ क्लब सोनीपत का प्रशिक्षण स्थल रहा है। 2017- सोनीपत जिले में मजबूत महिला का खिताब जीता। वहीं 2017 भिवानी में हरियाणा स्टेट चैंपियनशिप खेलते समय हाथ में फ्रैक्चर हो गया। तो स्वास्थ्य के कारण बीच में ब्रेक हुआ और बहादुरगढ़ में 2018 को हरियाणा राज्य चैंपियनशिप के साथ शानदार वापसी की और स्वर्ण पदक जीता।
खेल का सफर चलता गया गुंटूर (आंध्र प्रदेश) में 2018 राष्ट्रीय सुसज्जित चैंपियनशिप खेली लेकिन यहां 5 वां स्थान मिला।

वर्ष 2021 में हरियाणा राज्य चैंपियनशिप में एक बार फिर स्वर्ण पदक के साथ वापसी की। सफलता का यह सफर बेहतर तरीके से आगे बढता गया और पुजा ने अब केरल के अल्लापझुआ में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय क्लासिक पावरलिफ्टिंग चैंपियनशिप में डेडलिफ्ट में 13 अप्रैल को स्वर्ण पदक, और स्क्वाट में कांस्य पदक जीता है।
